Hoping someone can help.
Flying from Gatwick this Sun at 6.00am to Ibiza, and friend recently travelled throught first choice and said that there were 22 flight checking in, in a 3 hr time slot.
After they had checked in and gone through security it was time to board.
Haven't booked in flight meals, and was hoping to eat before hand. Just wondered if anyone knew if this was a regular occurance.
Thanks
It's coming up to peak holiday season so I imagine queues at security are larger than normal. That's why it's recommeneded to check-in at least 2 hours prior to your flight departure to give you plenty of time to transit the airport.

Will get there nice and early and hope for the best. Can always grab a sandwich from shop if need be.
Thanks
Hi flight FCA038 30.06.08 can you tell me where the earlier flight is coming in from.
FCA038/9 is operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER. The incoming aircraft operates FCA022/3 (LGW-Puerto Plata-LGW).

Thanks Darren for info.
hi, family of 4 travelling in premium cabin to dalaman from gatwick in august, just wondered what the chances are of being seated 2 and 2 behind. we have always been seated 3 and 1 across the aisle which is great as the kids obviously want to sit together and hubby and me have the aisle seats, i wouldnt be happy with the children in a different row and it wouldnt be such a great start to a holiday if hubby was in the row behind with one of the kids - what do you think the chances are and has this happened to anyone else, how can i make sure this is avoided - premium cabin includes prebooked seats ....your thoughts would be appreciated....thanks
We didn't have a problem with it as it meant two window seats and I sat them in front of us then I had control to a certain extent of the seats in front of me being reclined, although obviously if the people in front of my kids reclined then I let them do so as well, or they would have been squashed.
I can see why people with younger kids wouldn't like it though. The other thing is you get two of the dreaded middle seats as well.
I suppose after they have allocated all the 3 plus one across the aisle formations, then then have to start filling up the remaining sets of twos. Either with couples or families of four.
Also been allocated 4 aisle seats as well.
I can't/don't complain though as I am not prepared to pay the extra 60 pounds to ensure we are together. I just take what I am given.

The 767 is a pain due to seating configuration which i think doepsmc may be referring to and a lot of people get split up. But a lot of families travel on the A321 and so do couples, so your request will fit in nicely with the usual request of an aisle seat for a couple.
thanks for your replies.........we are booked in premium seats which does include prebookable sitting together so hopefully we will be seated 3 + 1 .
We're flying to Aruba in October - star class.
You can pre-book seats 'together' (I use the term loosly!), but you cannot reserve specific seat numbers at the moment. Yoi may be able to in the future when they are fully integrated into TUI..
can anyone give me the address and phone number of FCA ..................thanks
Hopefully someone might be able to help, leaving gatwick tommorrow on a flight to Lanzarote at 16.55hrs, can someone tell me what route the plane operates prior to this flight so I can see if there are going to be any significant delays?....I see that FCA have quite a few flights delayed from Gatwick today.
Thanks
The flight beforehand goes to Adnan Menderes (ADB) in Turkey (never heard of it myself)
thanks tom
Adnan Menderes (ADB) is where we are flying into next thurs, its Izmir airport
From 1st May 2009 (start of the summer season), Thomsonfly and First Choice Airways will officially be merged and rebranded to become Thomson Airways. I'm sure they could have come up with a more imaginative title than that! It's not much different than what they used to use and by all accounts, it's not gone down too well in the FCA camp. It's a logical move but given the reputation FCA have, especially with long haul travel, there are a few disgruntled people.
Does First Choice do a night/day before departure checkin? We are staying at a hotel the night before departure and would like the convenience of checking in the evening before departure.
