I haven't stayed there or been inside but it looks v. nice from outside. The beach is at the back of the hotel. I use a small beach about 500 metres down the coast from Kresten Palace and I think their beach is down a steepish path, at least that is how it looks from where I swim. There is a bus stop right by the hotel and the buses run into the town frequently. Also, there's a taxi rank almost opposite so travelling around should be no problem at all.
