Is there no more reports from people returning from the Club Aida or even some pictures !!
just returned from club aida last night.what a fabulous place could not fault anything about it.it is emaculate inside and out,all staff superb cant do enough to make you welcome.you people due to go with kids beware it is very hot high forties keep them covered.no need to take turkish lira with you as you get a higher exchange rate over there,236 last yesterday.we had a serious bush fire just behind hotel last wednesday witch covered everything in dust and ash.the whole complex was cleaned from top to bottom when fire put out, kitchen scrubbed all utencils, bar scrubbed, glasses, cups, plates, surfaces the works.dont worry about kids wondering around complex they are very safe, security outside entrance wont let them go outside on there own.one fault we found poolhas no shallow end as such so anyone under 5ft 7ins cant stand up unless on the steps.you will have a great time at this truly outstanding complex.
When you have the time would you please write us a review here http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/reviews/turkey/dalaman-region/marmaris/club-aida-apartments/
Many thanks
We are also going on the 7th August. Are you flying from Gatwick? We have a 9 year old boy with us and i am slightly worried about the depth of the pool, he will not be impressed if he has to spend all day in the little pool x
We go on monday - cant wait. Never been to turkey before - hope we can stand the heat!
My post is a bit late for Katwin who went on Monday - but for those of you leaving soon, please remember to eat before your flight home, as eating at the airport in Dalaman is extortionate. From what I can remember of last year a simple McDonalds mean was about a tenner. We waited until we got there so we could pass the time, but it was a rip off.
so we no what we are letting ourselves in for anybody else going the same time
Hi emmalouise79, no we fly from Manchester. I will be taking a back float with a strap for my daughter so at least she will be safe. We have an early morning flight so should be there sometime in the afternoon. Looking forward to it, see you there.
we never came across a launderette in marmaris piplady there isnt one in the complex either you only need towels to lay on the sun beds with you dry within minutes as soon as you get out of the pool the temperature is pushing towards the 50s dont need drying.
Is there a washing line with pegs in the apartment? I know most do.
5 more sleeps!!! Fly from Glasgow on Monday. Cant wait.
there is no washing lines in this complex there is a towel rail on the balcony.you will find washing lines in the back street ghettos if you prefer that.turkey is hot you dont need clothes lines, scruffy idea, club aida too posh for that.
thanks hemo joe i hadnt thought of that!! off to aida on 24th july and cant wait!!!
Yeah, see you there. It seems a bit of a stupid idea to have the pool so deep, but there you go. Can't wait now, it seems like we still have so long to go. we usually book 2 or 3 weeks before we go, we booked 7weeks before this time and it feels like I have been waiting ages.
So impatient!!!
We fly at 11.30am from Gatwick, we will probably see you at the welcome meeting in the morning, if they have one???? I'm sure they will x
Does anyone know if there is an ATM in the Club Aida to withdraw cash.
dont know if you know but the banks are charging alot more for taking money out of an ATM machine abroad the exchange rate in turkey is better than here so we take english money and get it changed over there but markets most shops and for booking trips they like english and you can get good deals i know that doesnt answer your question about there being an ATM machine but hope the information helps
Hi mys123 - 4sleeps!!!! we go from glasgow on monday also - 4pm flight.
