Thanks Laudan for posting the photos. Hotel looks great!!! Can't wait to go. 4 weeks on Monday!!
i must of been there same time as you laundan i had seen that the piccadilly had closed down i assume it was due to the new laws that had been put in place about hassling tourists if the police catch you they close you down for 3 days if they catch you again it is a week the next time is a month then if the catch you again they close you down for good i spoke to some friends of mine who own a restaurant and they even said they cannot even put there menu boards on the path anymore or they even panic now if just someone in general stops to ask them directions they have to ask them to come into the restaurant so they can tell them and apparently some of the police are in plain clothes
Been reading this link since December when we booked Club Aida. We head out from Glasgow 4 weeks on Monday - can't wait. This is our first time to Turkey so all the tips been great. Jeep safari sounds great, write up said you are in convoy so you need to drive - do you only need to take UK driving license? Not sure if my hubby would be happy driving abroad - anyone done it who can offer advice?
Katwin, no need to worry over the jeep safari, the jeeps come with your own driver!
Bit worried about the main pool, is there somewhere for the little ones, daughter is 8 and just learnt to swim?
Have they sorted out the loud music after midnight yet?
Not all bad , weather was brilliant came home with a fab tan, people were lovely, some great places to eat

There is a toddler pool next to the slides pool and you can use the pool at the bottom of the slides which is a nice depth when the slides are not in use. I would take a pair of arm bands with you just in case she finds the big pool a struggle
How did they manage to spend a grand on food if they were on flexi dine option?
What is flexi dine???
Flexi- dine, is the option ov paying for your meals upfront for the week - 134 lira for adults and half price for the kids. Which we thought was dear. Thats what i mean about watching the totals on the card- they didnt keep receipts, and you still have to pay for the drinks
Sorry but youve lost me a little here , so wheer did the £1000 for food come from if they paid for flexi dine?
Well i dont really know either, she just said they have ended up spending in one week £1400 with the exception ov a few souveniers .The rest ov it went into the hotel ,in the shop in the kids play rooms etc.
The flexi dine doesnt look bad value ,on my reconing for two adults and a child its £145 ish for a week , if thats breakfast lunch and evening meal its a bargain
Cheers for the info - really fancy the jeep safari and even better if don't have to drive. Any idea how much it cost - quite fancy the option of overnight stay.
i didnt use the flexi dine but i am sure it was just breakfast and evening meal and was 134lira for four days dining but in my opinion still not bad value might of considered it myself but i like to go out for tea and as for the comment about the pool not been cleaned i watched them every morning from 5.30am clean the pool and then 3 men go round and clean every mattress on the sun beds the joys of been an early riser i guess and like i said in my review they even scrub the floor with and industrial machine all day long

Loads of loungers when we were there (with loverly thick mattresses) You could come down any time and get a bed and on market days you could have had 10 each. There is a sign up saying there are plenty beds for each room and not to reserve beds for children who will be in the pool all day. You are not supposed to reserve a bed before 8 and any beds with towels on between 8 and 10 that are not being used will have the towels removed (not that we saw it happen)
