Glasgow Science Centre is good, shopping in Sauchiehall Street or Braehead.

I would suggest taking the 'Hop On Hop Off' bus tour, and visiting the People's Palace and the Hunterian Museum ........ good cafés in both as well!
A couple more guides to take a look at -
The Barras, you can pop in on your way the the Peoples Palace.
Loch Lomond is a must IMO.
The Enoch Shopping Centre.
Have a wee dram on Sauchiehall Street
You can also visit the Oldest House in Glasgow, and the Tenement House.

Couldn't agree with you more Kazzzza! ATB!
You can then couple that with the excellent transport museum in the Kelivn Hall, which is directly across the road from the Art Gallery.
Links to both can be found here:

On the other hand, if it shopping, food and drink, or something completely different you are looking for, post your preferences here and we'll try to help.
Davep1 the OP seems to have given this forum a miss since his post
Ryanair have cheap flights again, I might get a flight up to Glasgow for my yearly trip. From October though.
We might actualy manage that elusive drink and get together then
Or then again we might not because we will be in Greece until mid October
Where are you off to this time ?
(click here) to continue discussion about your separate trip to Lochgilphead, Kilmaronock, etc., as it may become really confusing for anyone looking for info about Glasgow if we have all of that going on in this topic.
Many thanks
David
Hi KAZZZZA ... just in case davep1 ever returns to this topic to discuss those suggestions for his wife's trip to Glasgow, perhaps you would like to use your previous topic Many thanks
David

may thanks for all your replies. I've given them to the boss to decide where we go, but I believe we are going to a drive out into the countryside on 1 of the days but not sure where we are going to.

Depending on where you are travelling from you will be arriving in either Queen Street station or more likely Glasgow Central.
Both Lush and Primark are very close to both stations. Lush is located in Buchanan Street and Primark in Argyle Street which is at the bottom of Buchanan Street and both are only 10 minutes apart .
Museums wise, I would recommend Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery which is at the start of Argyle in Partick and is probably the easiest to get to in the time you have.
You have a couple of options in getting there, you can take a taxi which will take about 8-12 minutes or you can use public transport.
The busses are very regular along Argyle Street so there is no problem with them, or you can take the Subway.
The Subway is very easy to understand as there are only 2 lines going in opposite circles CLICK HERE FOR MAP so you if you miss your stop just stay on and do the grand tour you want to get off at Kelvinhall Subway Station and the mueum is a 5 minute stroll away. The Subway trains run every 4-6 minutes.
There is a subway station in both Buchanan Street and also at the bottom of Buchanan Street on Argyle Street in St Enoch Square.
If you are interested in transport you could combine a trip to the Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery with a visit to the Kelvinhall Transport Museum which is just over the road from it.
Food wise you have soooo many options I don't know where to start, if you can say what type of food you would prefer we can give you a list of places to go
But if you look at this site you will get some ideas of places and also you might like to book and use the additional benefits that the site offers (free wine, coffee etc) http://www.5pm.co.uk Idealy you want to look at restaurants in Glasgow city centre or the West End.
If you see any that you like the sound of ask us and we can tell you if it is in a viable location for you.
