has anyone have any news on the strikes if they have been resolved or not

Any updates to if the slackers are working or skiving this saturday the 5th and next 12th??

Nothing on the Majorca Bulletin today so ok for now, or at least this weekend

I fly out tomorrow from Glasgow, so finger crossed. However I don't think that 'no news is good news' . I just think that the bulletins were fed up reporting the same strike story day after day. There is absolutely no news at all online about possibility of a strike. (wasn't any either during previous strikes last week either - except for the Majorca Bulletin).

Does anyone know where we could find out if it has been resolved or not? Anyone online from Majorca heard anything?

Today's strike went ahead. The employers were saying that it would not affect things too badly, but that was the employers saying this. As far as I'm aware there are no further strikes planned after today. There is a different strike in the offing tough, and that is of hotel workers. The news today is that this could be staged over at least ten days at the end of July and in August, though I take this to mean ten separate days as opposed to all in one go.

Thats when we go to Majorca, last week in July and first week in August!
Where would we stand if the hotel we're in is on strike?
Would Thomson have to feed us?

Just returned from Palma last night.Our 20.20 flight was delayed till 22.15 due to backlog in flights because of strike.The later your flight the more likely you will be delayed it seems.Be prepared for a wait and if you dont get one ... well done!
