Chivas, sorry I maybe didn't explain my post very well. I was using mozzie repellant creams and sprays because I know I have a reaction to bites, but these obviously didn't work. The doctor recommended the Vitamin B to take before going away as it apparently sends off a smell from human skin that we can't smell, but mozzie's, flies etc can't stand it, thus repelling them from coming near you.

I am going to try it next time, as things can't get any worse for me than they did. I still have scarring on my wrist, ankles and legs from the bites
