I have twice had a problem, once when a card was stolen and second when a TO went bust. Both times it took little more than a telephone call and a form completing.

Can you please post some details so we can be aware of the problem?

I had booked a named holiday to Majorca for 4 adults with a 1 bedroom apt for each couple by telephone. The details were read out to me for confirmation and I agreed and duly paid by credit card. When the confirmation came through the post, it was for AOA in Magalluf and only 1 apt for the 4 of us. when I rang to complain the company denied all knowledge of my original booking and more or less called me a liar. I asked for a full refund which they refused . It was a late booking and they said I would forfeit the whole amount if cancelled. I contacted my cc company who were not interested at all and said I had to try and recover the money myself and if not successful as a last resort they MIGHT help but I would have to prove I had done everything possible to recover my money. After many phone calls to different people at the TA I went to Citizens Advice and they told me to go to the small claims court. These people were EXCELLENT an extremely helpful and I recovered the full amount plus extra for phone calls, claims cost and inconvenience! A good result NO THANKS AT ALL to CC Company!
