Can anyone advise us please.

We have our hearts set on 2 weeks in the Maldives in March minus the kids to mix romance and scuba diving. We have scoured the internet, read all sorts of books and really don't know where to choose as everywhere seems so wonderful.

We would like either a Water bungalow ( they look so cool) or a bungalow right next to the beach. We want the resort to have a reputable diving centre with plenty of choices for decent dives ( Rob particularly would like to see sharks). We will be going AI and don't mind a little bit of nightlife..you know a few drinks in a bar etc. Not overly bothered about entertainment or anything like that.

I have thought about Keredu..Meeru, Sun Island..the list is endless. Can anyone advise me please? We are budgeting for about £5k but don't mind if we go abit over as it will be a once in a lifetime trip.
