I am due to get married in Cyprus in 2009 and have been looking at Sunset Beach on the outskirts of Ayia Napa for my reception and evening drinks. Has anyone had heard any feedback on this place? it looks lovely and is very private, I have at least 50 guests so wanted somewhere quite exclusive perhaps looking over the sea to remind us where we are. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

All i have heard is it is supposed to be the best venue in cyprus for receptions. My daughter gets married in 5 weeks in protaras at the sunrise beach hotel. If you go on you and your wedding forum you might find some reviews on there
My other half has popped the question today and i would love a hotel / beach weeding in Protaras
Not used to this new layout, Just wondering when your wedding is.
My other half has asked me today and im thinking Cyprus would be ideal for us as ive been to two weddings in Cyprus and loved them both. I love your idea of afternoon cruise and think i will pinch that idea. Were thinking 2010 for our wedding so plenty of time to plan and change my mind lol
Photos would be great after your big day, good luck

Can anyone tell me - how did you find the email address for the registrar? we're getting married at the Yermasoyia town hall in Aug next year, and have only been told by TC the date, no idea of time, and would love to know more so we can tell family etc.
Sorry about this but I have gone through the wedding information and can not find any information on Pegeia Town Hall. My friend is getting married in August in 2009 and i wondered if anyone had any photographs or experiences of getting married there. We are staying at the Laura Beach Hotel.
If anyone has any information I would be grateful.
Many Thanks
we have only been to cyprus once but fell in love with the place - we want to get married at the chapel in the aneas hotel but im undecided as to were to stay - the aneas hotel looks gorgeous but ive read some bad reviews ? anyone got experiance of getting married there , or any other ideas were would be good ?think we want to have a meal /disco with my party outside?
I was thinking of marrying in Yermasoyia Town Hall in May 2010 and wondered if you had any info on it. How did you book? Did you ever find out your time? What are you planning after the wedding and where are you staying?
Sorry for so many questions, we haven't booked yet and want to try and get as much info as we can
Thanks
Kathryn

I am having difficulty finding a catholic church in protaras where we are planning to get married next year. I really would like a catholic church wedding and we are planning to stay in protaras.
Anybody know of a catholic church????
Louise
there are only 4 RC churches on cyprus ... Pafos,Lemesos,Larnaka & Lefkosia Greek orthodox is the primary religion [fairly closly akin] Paralimni has a beutifull GO church
Edit: Sorry posted at same time. Wasn't implying anything about Wizards post
From memory, I *think* the closest Catholic mass you will find to Protaras is at the Scandanavian Church in Ayia Napa. Not sure if they do weddings though.

Alternatively, and again Napa I am afraid, the Atlantica Aenaes hotel has a chapel that conducts both Anglican and Catholic weddings...but it is very expensive unless you are staying there. Then it is only expensive.

What is the name of the church in paralimni?
Does the church in paralimni do catholic weddings?
I managed to find the one in Larnaca - Terra santa catholic church but it is 30mis away from where we would like to stay.
I was hoping to find one closer.

have you thought of a civil service at the town hall and a blessing when you get home [you can invite all who dont make the wedding]
