Hi, I'm not long back from my holiday to marmaris and whilst there I had taken my family on a jeep safari, let me first say that health and safety on some of these excursions is of major concern as I found the lack of it on my trip deeply disturbing, first we had more people in the back of the jeep than there where seat belts, we where not shown how to apply these things that looked like something from a WWII war movie, the driver was well over confident in his ability to drive like a maniac and as for the crazy goings on at one of the stops where kids happily jumped of a 27ft waterfall into a less than three meter deep pool beggars belief

They don't really have health and safety in Turkey as we know it in the UK and other parts of Europe.

Really it is a judgement call on the part of the parents if to let their family go on a jeep safari or not.

I would never let my family go on one in a country like Turkey as you never really know what you are going to get until you turn up on the day.
By then a lot of peoples attitudes is that they cant back out or 'well i've paid for it so might as well go on it', also they don't want to disappoint their kids, which is what a lot of these companys with dodgy H&S rely on.

There are many other ways of having a good time with your family in Turkey.
