Have finally booked The Hemera 3 adults in July £2,500 
The Thomas Cook website said it was Hemera Appartments to sleep 3, after going through the booking process it still came up with apartments but said family room so not quite sure if it is an apartment that sleeps 3 or just a family room 
Does anyone know if there are family rooms located within the apartments - Thank you

I am not sure where the family rooms are but on direct holidays they say for 2 adults and 1 child. I think its a error. Anybody want the hemera direct holidays have it showing up for the 4 august, ring them and don't use web site because its only allowing 2 people to book the room, other hotels for the same flight are allowing 3 passengers.

£5600 for us Mike and thats at the cheaper end of the school holidays when if you went for 14 nights you wouldnt make it back for the start of the new term ..Thats almost £2000 more than I paid booking early with direct holoidays for 19th july for exactly the same room configuration .
no doubt people will still pay these prices
lyn for me its £7200, booked early and paid £4000 for 5 adults in 2 rooms with DH and I am going at the most expensive time the beginning of august so I suppose another £1K or so could be added to the price.
Reason why I am saying profiteering is going on at the moment, and you can bet somebody cancelled so in effect they get lost deposit money and then charge an arm and leg for a holiday what was sold cheaper in the first place.

I think cosmos were always more expensive for the Hemera this year though mike . I remember pricing them at the same time . There are 5 of us too but direct were giving me a child price of £250 for my 13 year old which is hard to find .
Lyn you got in just in time because they dropped the child age to 12 in May.

Your right they did Mike , about 2 weeks after I booked .
One things for sure we will have to search hard for a bargain and I doubt I will get a child price again once he will be 14 . I dont want to be paying more than I am this year . It's going to be tough. I think prices will be out in a few weeks time so let me know if you find any bargains .

i booked last may when i got back, i paid just over £1000 for 2 people for 2 weeks from the 28th april . within a couple of months the price had raised to £1500 and a couple of weeks ago the price was £1750 i know this as my brother inlaw booked it. to be honest the hemera is a good hotel but im not sure if i would pay the massive price increases to book again next year . also i hope the animation team which will almost be all new are as good as the old team , ali ,turgay scooby etc. who are no longer there not even sure if robin will be there . they have some big boots to fill the new team.

We are going to Hemera for the first time in August, we have been to Lara Beach previously.
We have a daughter who will be 5, can anyone tell me what the kids club is like, and do they have a playground? any other child friendly facilities?

You lucky thing! you will love it, Yes they have a nice playground with swings, see-saw,slide, trampoline with enclosure,the in-door kids club is great too its play-safe and bright the staff come round shouting"kids club" and all the kids follow like the pied-piper! I hope you like cats and kittens because you"l find lots of clean,friendly kittys to play with, the hotel look after them. There is a mini golf but i wouldnt bother with that its not up to much. Hope this helps, have a fab time

Yes, fantastic children's club emmasholiday, your daughter will love it, great hotel. Davidstoncold, we too are going 28th April for 2wks, I believe you were there last May when we were there. Looking forward to returning next month but hoping the evening entertainment will be improved this year as it was pretty dire last year..... apart from that no complaints at all. Here's wishing EVERYONE a fabulous holiday at the Hemera this season.
are you flying from eastmids chrissieing , yes we where there last may when the storm came with the mini tornado ,was that the same time as you..

Yes Dave, we certainly were there (on the beach) when the tornado came - very spectacular. We are flying from Gatwick at 11.30.am so should arrive for evening meal. Will keep our eye out for you around the bar. Have a great hoilday, fingers crossed that the weather will be good as it was proper chilly in the evenings last year.

im afraid we where stuck at the pool bar and just dare not move i have a good picture somewhere of the mini tornado going over the hotel next door ... i think perfume is there aswell chrissie . i will be not far away from the pool bar as i dont like to miss the darts or shooting ..as for the cold nights it was a bit chilly but i soon forgot about it after a few drinks..

yes I'm there 28th April, just a week. Not my main holiday.
Now I can't wait!! We go on the 2nd June for 2 weeks....I'm almost too embarrased to say what price we had it for. We booked last July and paid £1960 for 2 weeks for 2 adults & 2 children. Brilliant!!!!
me too i booked last year and paid only £1050 for 2 weeks for 2 adults . i will not be paying the close to £2000 for 2 adults it has gone up to now...
I booked last May and paid £4000 for 5 adults 4 august so peak school hols period, very happy with the price. 
Considering thomsons wanted £6500 for the same holiday.
