Hi Llindabrad, bad news, but it will probablybe only yours that will have to be redone. Try retrieving and modifying your form so it is ready to send back as soon as your passport is returned, or maybe try and contact them and tell them of the mistake and see if they will hold on to your passport until you send them a new form.
Well there are bonuses ,free bus pass to Goa?? and of course free prescriptions which would save a fortune at Johnny's the Chemist.
The postman has just delivered our passports complete with new visas. 5 days turnaround from posting to receiving back. Brilliant service. Thanks to Smudger2 and Linb for your help when I was doing the forms, I owe you both a :cheers.
Great Polly, that will put your mind at rest now
Ours still says application created on 2nd October, luckily I have found post office receipts and tracked the envelopes, they have definitely been received at Birmingham
gives you time to read all the posts on this thread and note good points
gives you time to read all info on vfs web site and check check and check again before sending application, the correct info is there but finding it!!!!!!
chilly
Polly thats brill I have just read your post never went to Donegal ....
5 passports sent off yesterday. We've checked,double-checked and triple-checked the details on the Visa form. Hopefully we can get the 5-day turnaround like Polly !!!
I got truely hammered last night to celebrate
I have had 12 emails off VFS global and yet not one person could simply ask for payment, no just send it all back in my own prepaid envelope ... simple.
well I've resent passports photos applications, with a copy of their letter and a copy of my bank statement showing the debit made on 3rd October
(arg, they now have my account number, sort code and current balance)
I've taken note of the tracking numbers on the one sent and the enclosed one, to Hayes...this was emailed to me yesterday ... (even though Goswell rd is no longer???
" Send it to the same office. What happens is, when it is received, it will be processed and then it will reflect on the tracking facility. Before that it won't. So when you send it, as long as you get a confirmation from royal mail that it was delivered, rest assured that we have got it. Sometimes the volume of applications goes up substantially, that it may take sometime before it's processed and it's reflected on the database. But on average we try and ensure we process and forward the application to the Indian consulates as soon as we can."
Can't wait to celebrate with the rest of you!! simpathize Lindab... Rokerender makes me laugh good luck knobsy ...
