The last time I was in Florida, 1981, I think, Freddie Laker flew me from Prestwick to Miami for about 200 quid, including hotel, and we also went on an overnight trip to a place called Orlando to see something called the Magic Kingdom.
We are going over next September for my son's 21st birthday, and will spend a week in the Orlando area, before going onto Anna Maria Island for a week, so as you can gather, I'm a bit out of touch regarding Orlando!!
We are looking for a 4 bed villa, near enough to the theme parks, shopping, dining, golf etc, and I've seen some lovely places in Southern Dunes, Highlands Reserve etc, although I haven't a clue about where they are, or what the area's are like, so I'm looking for some advice from all you Orlando experts. If you have stayed in some of these places, did you like the area, it's good and bad points, and the best pointer of all, would you go back to the same place.
