Easyjet booking
A bit of praise where due for Easyjet.
Had booked and paid for my flight to Dalaman on Wednesday 7 January and by Thursday the prices had gone down (only by £30) but had still gone down. Suddenly remembered about their price-promise, so called the number given on the website and in less than 5 minutes I had been issued with a credit of £30 to be used against future bookings/speedy boarding and valid for 6 months - perfect for me.

its really good to know they honour that pledge . I will be keeping an eye on the prices for my 2 bookings I have with them although I have to say Easyjet normally do what they say on the tin . The earliest bookers get the best price and the price gradually goes up as the seats are filled.
What exactly is their price promise has the price got to be lower within a certain time of booking? Thanks
E.G. I had booked flight for 2 June at 1545hrs to DLM returning 19 June 2230hrs and the cost was GBP440. When I looked at exactly the same flight details the next day the total cost had gone down by GBP30.00 (the rtn flight was cheaper by GBP15.00). More information can be found on their website in the Q+A section. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the info I will take a look. I booked my flights when they first came out and when I checked the price had not come down but its always good to know these things.
I always thought the easyJet price promise only applied if you found another flight with a different carrier with the same details (within a certain time of each other) but the same departure and arrival airport. I didn't think they would refund if your flight went down. If this is true then its well worth knowing but also a bit of commercial suicide on their part.
Hi,
Normally around July
Is there any current promotional code for easyjet? Looking for flights in April.
We have flights booked In June to go to Dalaman, we have have not booked speedy boarding, I am now thinking that maybe I should have booked it.
If I was to book now, does anyone know if they will charge me additional booking fees, cant seem to find anything on the website.
Thanks for any help

I have done this recently, & Im sure you only pay the credit card fee once (when you first book) , if that is what you mean.
The more I think about, I'm sure I only paid the speedy boarding fee when I logged in again to book it.
Deb.
I'm sure we've added speedy boarding to flights before after they've been booked and just paid the extra cost for the speedy boarding. There were no 'amendment charges' or similar but I think there was a charge for using a credit card.
You can log into my easyjet and make the changes, it will then give you a price on how much it costs for the changes you have made. You can then either pay the fees, or just log out without making the change.
With reference to earlier posts about speedy boarding, I have found more often than not, they get to queue first, then on the bus, but as already said, everyone else is then allowed on the bus so you dont gain much at all. I have seen this quite regularly ay Bristol and Glasgow, at Rome Leonardo De Vinci airport (yes I got diverted because of the Ryanair jet issue) they sent a bus ahead with just the speedy boarders on, it was handled very well.
I dont use speedy boarding as we fly as a couple and dont mind not sitting together.
Thanks to all of you who have helped with my easy jet query.
Im due to go to spain soon im only takin hand luggage but the rest of the party is taking hold luggage i have checked in online and got my boarding passes, just wondered what happened as in reagrds to what seating arrangement i would be in ie A B C or D really want to sit with my friends anybody have any ideas ??? thanks Catherine
Easyjet don't allocate seating like most other airlines. You just board the aircraft and find a seat. As long as you are with your friends when you board, I'm sure you'll find some seats together.

This does depend on the airport you are flying from and how strict the staff are. In my experience Stansted is not too good at implementing the boarding order.

I have only been on Easy Jet once and it was a long time ago but we are considering flying to Corfu with them. They are quite a bit cheaper but we have two young children so I don't want to end up in a huge free for all fight to get on the plane
If anyone has experience of travelling to Corfu with Easy jet, particularly in August can you please let me know.
Thanks
Kedi
