We went to Grenada 5 yrs ago in July and stayed at the Rex Grenada. The weather was good, had the odd shower through the day, but just used to dive under the bar canopy and wait a few seconds for it to pass.
We hired a taxi driver for the day and he took us on a tour of virtually the whole island. Also visited the cocoa plantation and of course where they make the rum. The people are lovely, very friendly and helpful and a visit to St Georges market is a must. I think it could be quite expensive though if you dont go AI. Sorry I cant be more helpful, my memory is getting worse as I get older !!

Hi We were over there last May staying at the Coyaba Beach Resort. It was AI so I am not fully up with prices outside the hotel but they didn't seem expensive, but with the way the pound has gone prices will now be higher as the currency is linked to the US Dollar. The best time to got is before mid May as after that its the rainy season. We absolutely loved the Island and are going back this year in April so as we are there during the lobster season (it stops 1st May) Its a wonderful Island to look around and the people are very friendly we never had the slightest concern when we were out of the Hotel. If anybody is into diving its not bad especially if you are with an operator who will take you to the Atlantic side where the action is.
