Maybe you could price a retrurn with another company. We did that last year and got quite a good deal. We flew there with First Choice and flew back with Thomas Cook worked fine and saved a fair bit. Thomas Cook usually always have cheap one way flights from Dalaman.
Do First Choice still fly to Dalaman? I checked a few days ago and they only offered Antalya.
steve ive tried and all return flights available end of oct are too dear, about £180 ish 1 way, not paying that, thomson had some for £110 return but they seem to have gone shame i didnt book it when i saw them grrr, flythomascook prices were very high when i checked yesterday
What dates do you want?

You will be better of checking Thompsons as First Choice merged with them so you will find their old routes on the Thompson Fly website. I think all the First Choice aircraft have now been rebranded with Thompsons.
Steve
I'm not aware of your exact dates, but take a look at that site as they generally provide prices for charter and low cost airlines, and also show cheaper flights on alternative dates, depending on how flexible you are. I often use travelrepublic as a price comparison website, and then visit the airline/operator's website and book directly, which usually saves a few quid.
I still begrudge paying £322 each for a seat to Dalaman, especially when I've booked seats in July/Aug for £140 each Back to the drawing board yet again I think!
steve we are looking at around 16th to 21st oct for 10-15 nights so returning 30th -1st nov, i did find some with aegean and they have now gone up too grr, i dont want to pay more than £220 each , flights from birmingham, east mids, any london or even manchester considered, im going to keep looking, so mad at myself for missing these i found a few days ago for £590 return for the 3 of us from birmingham or £480 from gatwick

First Choice also have some at abround £215 each.

I've found flights for 16th-30th with Onur Air from Gatwick for £265 each. Alternatively, from Manchester on the 19th-31st (12 nights) with Viking for £226. Otherwise, wait a little - some airlines will have special offers from time to time, and its unlikely there will be any major increase in the price they are charging now (there's only so much that one will pay for a flight to Turkey). Keep checking sites such as travelrepublic and charterflights.co.uk, and you might find something cheaper.
ive gone ahead and booked now as i was worried the prices might either go up or availability would be very low. i booked the easy jet flights out for £40 each and return with flythomascook and paid extra for 5 kilos of luggage, then i had the choice of paying in euro with cc to give me the exchange or accept their exchange rate which wasnt great but at least i know what ive paid incase the sterling drops quickly, so they were £499 for 3 of us. not too bad for half term week for 2 weeks, the last few years they have been around £300+ and i was worried about waiting til june for easy jet to release their end of oct flight prices , its a lottery lol , its done now, thanks for your help chaps
Glad to hear yur sorted Karen . that doesnt sound bad to me
Also pleased that you're sorted Karen I am going to have a final look around the sites this evening and then book for Oct half term as I'm also worried that the availability won't be there or that the prices will rocket. Since I started looking a few days ago, the prices seem to rise by £20 or so a day
cazz the birmingham aegean flights went from 125 on thur to 157 over the weekend to 173 today, thats return on 1st from dalaman to birmingham which i was going to book but missed out on
Couldn't wait any longer and watch the prices rise daily. Have booked Thomas Cook from Gatwick on 23rd Oct and returning on 1st November for £248 (yukky old night flights though ) Thanks everyone for your help!
cazz we will be on the same hideous tcook flight lol, i dont think thats too bad for half term week, the last few years its been around the £300 mark
Can't say I'm looking forward to the flight home but I couldn't bring myself to pay nearly £100 each more for a day flight!
