Have just returned from Sharm, I don't know if it is age that counts for respect, but we never had any trouble with being short changed, hassled or being shown disrespect. It was our first time to Egypt, I must say reading a lot of the posts I felt quite afraid to be going.

I am so glad we went with an open mind, we had a very good time and experienced friendly bantor. We booked our trips in Naama Bay, and had good deals. We had promised ourselves a trip to see the Pyramids, and take a boat trip down the Nile, we visited the Cairo museum, fantastic!

If it is your first trip to Egypt, don't be put off by negative comments. Go with the intention to enjoy. O.K. you may get a little hassle and a few who try to get money for nothing, just be bigger than them and ignore. LA SHAKRAN, politely said did it for us, NO THANKYOU! By the way we are well traveled recycled teenagers.
