Thinking of going on this cruises. My question is - part of the cruise goes to New Orleans, Miami etc.
Do we need one of the new ESTA forms?

Yes, unless you are a US citzen, you cannot enter the USA without one! We "applied" for one a couple of weeks ago, and the approval was immediate. It is a very straightforward process, and only takes a few minutes. The approval is valid for two years.
