Can Anybody Tell Us If It Is Usually Warm Enough To Go Swimming In An Outdoor Pool In April?

We were in Benelmadena last April and laid by the pool most days, and swam in the pool

We were in La Carrihuela the 1st week of April. Although we could lie round the pool nearly every day, our pool was freezing, as was the sea.

last year it was towards the end of May before the pool was comfortable.

It has been so cold this winter I doubt the pools will be warm enough to swim in until May unless they have some form of heating. Our small pool was never warm enough (for us anyway) to swim in in April.

My friend who lives in El Pinillo tells me people were in the sea today & the pool at Sunset beach, i know 1 of the pools in SSB is heated, but would have thought the sea a bit cool..the temps there for the next 10days are mid 20's, so if this keeps up maybe the pools will be warmish in April, we will be there so may dip my toe. :yikes

agree with above.people are swimming in the sea today...April should be fine.but like any other time, it can have bad days.I hope it is fine for you to enjoy. :sun2
