Sorry, but don't know about any trips, but wanted to recommend Monkey World for a day out!

We stayed in Bournemouth last year and went to Monkey World for a day out. Very reasonable entry prices, food on site also good price. Loads see and if you have kids, plenty to keep them amused.

Excellent place

Hi Dave,

Spotted this in our local paper, hope this helps. Fancied it ourselves actually as we are local to you, only problem there is only one departure 31st July.

If you have your own transport, Monkey World is Central Dorset and so you could stay anywhere from Weymouth, Dorchester, to Poole, Bournemouth or Swanage and still be close.
Some of the holiday parks do weekend and midweek breaks, or you could get a cheap tent and camp for the night. There are even a few B&Bs close to Weymouth seafront that have parking and may have vacancies as we are not that popular anymore.
