It looks a hell of a lot better than it did when we were there in November, it should be done by the time we're there again in May i'd guess.

Got back on the 4th June. We walked past The Pelicanos Ocas and right in front of the Ocas there are major works goin on. It looks like another hotel being built. Massive cranes etc. I hope when I get back in July the bulk of it has been done! Luckily we stay far enough away not to be bothered about it!

They have been working there for a couple of years now and it will be a few more years before it is finished.

Torre Mediterraneo opposite the Hotel Pelicanos/Ocas, last year they had problems with flooding in the foundations and it ended up looking like a swimming pool (see previous page) and the project seemed to come to a complete standstill.....
Wow....I couldn't believe my eyes, they have been busy little bees....that gigantic hole and eyesore is now at street level.

Hi everyone

Was wondering if the newly named Ambassador Sweet renovation is complete, when we stayed at the Ambassador hotel last new year our room overlooked the building work and it was fairly noisy with the banging etc. also not a very nice view.

Booked to go here again in July and October so was hoping the work would be completed, any up to date info please.
