Yes it is possible, however it is uphill and depending on the time of year and day the heat may be a problem! follow the coast road towards Buggiba/Xemxija

Hello m&n, would you say it would be better to get the bus from Mellieha to Qawra and then walk back to Mallieha as it is all down hill

I agree Dave it would be better to get the bus to Mellieha from Qawra but it's a busy road. It's definitely uphill from Qawra to Melleiha.

Yes the walk back from Mellieha would be a lot easier just be wary of the busy road from Mellieha roundabout to the border roundabout with Xemxija.

Thinking about this walk and I don't know if it is possible but I am over there next week, so I will check this out, but it may now be possible to walk the St Paul's by-pass route instead of the coast route.
