It'll be one of the 763's. As for which one, it's too early to say. G-SPNA is based in Glasgow so there's a good chance it will be. The other two are being used on MOD and other leases.

Speaking of extra luggage allowance - i am sure we only paid £15 for 10kg extra last year (And they were charging £5 per kg over at the airport) but this year ive heard its gone up to £40 for 10kg and they're charging £10 per kg over at the airport! Eek!

We have booked for Palma and because my wife is disabled we need extra weight as she needs to carry extra equipment with her. We also need to sit together. This cost us £80 for 10kg extra weight and £24 for pre booked seats for the two of us for return flights. All of this was included for free with BMI as it was classed as medical needs.

Be aware as I have just noticed when I went to pay my balance for my holiday on my Debit card, Globespan have increased their visa debit charge from £2 per transaction to 2.99% which has meant my debit card fee is now over £30. I feel robbed by Globespan but as usual this increase is covered in their T&C. I have defended them in the past but feel really let down and don't think because of the way this has been forced on me nearly nine months after I booked that I will use them again. 
flem ... did you pay the balance yet, as you could perhaps pay by cheque and avoid the charges ? This has to be done at least 10 days before the balance due date. Perhaps too late for you if Flyglobespan have already taken the balance automatically.

I dont need to pay for another for two weeks but I dont have cheque book or account with a cheque book, Its not so much the money but the anger and annoyance that this extra charge has been sprung on me nine months after I booked, I think that they should have honoured the £2 debit card fee for those that had booked when this was in force. This has made e feel conned becaust their T&C mean that there is basically nothing I can do about it, even an e mail from them warning this was about to happen and it would be in my inerests to pay the balance would have been in my opinion good customer service, but I feel they have just seen an way to make easy extra money from me.
I can appreciate your anger and annoyance. Rather than pay the charge, I personally would try and find a friend or relative with a cheque book, if that is possible.

Just contacted Globespan and paid the balance and they only charged £3 as long as I used the card I initially used when I booked (although all future bookings will be at the 2.99%), looks like I jumped the gun with my rant and they have sill not let me down, Sorry!! 
Going to Dalaman on 12th August on a package holiday with Fly Globespan from Glasgow. Decieded to check Glasgow Airport website yesterday to find out if it was departing on time (it departs every Wednesday from the beginning of May) and could find no trace of it. Checked this morning on teletext for arrival and could still find no trace of it! This is is just a new destination for 2009 from Glasgow, has anyone done this journey yet. Starting to get a little bit anxious.

GSM253/4 are operating as normal. G-CEJO (Boeing 737-800) operated yesterdays flight and was logged overflying Blackpool at 1820 GMT so probably about an hour late. The same aircraft operated flights in May so everything looks normal, no need to panic.

Many thanks, has put my mind to rest a bit, just confused as to why couldn't find any trace of it on Glasgow Airport website or teletext. Thanks again.
I am sad to say , once again , that the operations recently out of Glasgow have been a complete shambles , Canada flights hours late and many 8/10 hours delay on short haul . Dont know why - anyone elxe noticed this . Edinburgh and Aberdeen seem reasonable .
Just a quick note to say we used flyglobespan Glasgow to Palma and back last week and they were superb. Flights both ways were on time, cabins were immaculate, the crew pleasant and helpful and check in was fast and efficient each time. I'm usually the first to knock airlines when things go wrong but it's only fair to say 'well done' when it all goes according to plan.
