We only put one Indian referee and that is the address of the hotel we are staying. We put N/A for the second referee.
We always fill the parents section in even though all our parents sadly are now deceased.

For Indian referees we put the name and address of the hotel in which we are staying and the office address of First Choice (or whoever we have booked through) in Panjim.
as my parents are deceased,i always put n/a and have had no probs
How long before you go can you apply for a visa we are off to Cambodia in nov and don't get back untill the end and then off to Goa for New Year so really did'nt want to leave it that close to going.
The visas run from the date they are issued, and are valid for 6 months so you could get them done before you go to Cambodia. I would recommend as early as August/September which means they would be valid until February/March.

Many thank's Candybabe I will do that then I know we have everything ready.
I know its probably in here somewhere but I cant find it, I live in Teesside where do I send my visa application to, last year it was Birmingham, I've read the website but my brain goes into panic mode over visas with the carryons over the last couple of years.
Can someone advise me if this is correct as that is what I intend to but as they change it every year I'm not sure whether that's correct.
Site to check your details: https://www.visaservices.co.in/IHC-UK/Track_Passport.aspx

I read that as well. When I checked, both myself and O/H details were still in the system. I've e-mailed them to have our details removed. Glad I found out before we apply for our new visas. 139 days to go
Just checked and it says " Your passport has been dispatched with Royal Mail " do I need to contact VFS ..Keith
from what I have been reading the answer is yes.
I sent an e-mail off yesterday and so far have just received an acknowledgment reply.
Hi there, just thinking ahead for my next indian visa, my problem is that my passport pages are very , very full , I have 2 pages blank , but I do not know if this will be acceptable to the embassy as they are not next to each other, I have noticed in my previous Indian visa entries they tend to put the visa on one page then the stamps on the page right next to it, does anyone know if the pages do need to be next to each other, if so, I am going to need a new passport soon, many thanks

Hi i.ve been to town today to get passport photos for visas. When we went to the photo booth(tried 2) the both said that the photos were not suitable for passports. We then went to Klix photo shop and she says the booths photos can't be used something to do with iris recognition. What i am wondering is will the ones in the booths be ok for Visas :
You might want to check yours, and try and get it sorted before you need to submit your new application.
Looks like I might have to ring them on their premium line to get it sorted, or maybe e-mail head of VFS, perhaps he can sort it for me. Not holding my breath.
