Hi booked our holiday with Thomson via the intrenet, does anybody know if we will receive paper tickets or just have to quote a reference number at check in? at time of booking they said paperless but on the confimation email it said we will recieve tickets about two weeks before we're due to fly.

have booked with thomson on line last two hols.have received tickets 2-3 weeks before.we have never received a confirmation after paying balance though,but never had any problems with them.

thomsons only have 20 gold hotels, 1 in rhodes, 13 in spain, 3 in cyprus, 1 in italy and 2 in portugal. these hotels are what i'm talking about. thanks
Hi zeusy14, we have been to 3 thomson gold hotels Castell playa in Menorca, Atlantica Golden beach Cyprus and Atlantica Imperial Resort Rhodes (last year) we are going to Atlantica bay Cyprus this year. Of those we have been to the Atlantica Imperial Resort was our favourite, the lay out, food, staff are second to none, infact we were hoping to return this year but found it too pricey £1000 more for the same weeks as last year! hope this helps you

Flights now out for summer 2010 with Thomson - £300 EACH return for August! I don't think so!!!!!!!!!!! Don't think they'll sell many at that price somehow!

Are Thomsons still delaying sending out tickets?????
Having booked with Thomson loads of times we normally have the tickets about 4 weeks before we go. As of now there are 2 weeks and 4 days left until we go! Is it time to ring them up? I'm fed up of listening to 'Praise You'!!!
I know this is the Thomson thread but my question above is a bit hidden away now and I know the good people of holiday truths would have answered it by now had it been left where it was!
Chivas. My brother travelled with Portland today to the CDS (obviously part of Thomson). They hadnt received their tickets so my sister in law phoned beginning of last week. There was a recorded message saying they had a delay on tickets, and to phone back if not received 5 days before travel :yikes.
They received them Saturday.
No harm in phoning.

We booked with Thomson in January, travelled in June and our tickets were printed off as we waited at their desk in the airport.
Well I have paid my final balance and it took 4 phone calls !!
When I booked I had a £50 promo discount and this wasn't showing on their system so was given another phone number to ring. Was given a wrong number so looked up the one on the web site, at last sorted after some discussion, but even they had to give me a separate phone number to call so I could make a payment.
So not impressed with Thomson right now.

Just returned from a holiday to Ibiza with Thomsons and have nothing but praise for everyone from the flight staff through to the Reps at the hotel.The Rep at the hotel was really good and at the welcome party he stated that Thomsons were aware that there were a lot of problems back home and he was not here to pressure anyone into buying trips etc.I would definatley travel with Thomsons again although the price for the same holiday I was on this year is approx. £1000 more expensive next year.Either they will have to reduce the prices or I will not be travelling with Thomsons again next year.

we are flying with thomson to sharm on 26th august 09. my youngest son is just 13 and i have been told he cannot have a childs meal as he is over 12. Iam sure he will not eat this! is it worth pursuing and if so who do i take this up wit, First choice who i booked online with or thomson air lines
