It's kind of you to take the trouble.
Is it just me or is anybody else having problems with the Thomson site? I can access it quite easy, choose hotel etc yet when it searches for prices/availability it throws a wobbler and says lost connection??? This has occurred continually over the last 3 -4 weeks??
I have just done a dummy booking and everything worked ok for me on the site all the holidays were displayed just fine.

been sorting hols out myself this last month...finaly found one and booked with thomascook a few days ago...was mooching on thomsons for hotel booked now and also for one next door which seems exclusive to them....had similar problems ...doing test bookings...was suprise hol for hubbys 50th and so was up late mooching....what I found out was after 1 am site dont work for pricing or booking as its being updated...if hols you choose are all gone it doesnt work either...me thinks if site very busy will just diconect you if cant match right away...so as to maximise sales....just made me go else where and look for alternative
Thomson website does the same for me when i log on using Mozilla Firefox ,but its fine when i use Internet Explorer .

It worked on IE! Still had to change some security settings - popped up saying ActiveX controls were not allowed! Thanks again!!
I received an email today stating our baggage allowance is 0kg.
I have been phoning Thomson this afternoon and have been passed round 3 different operators, I know ad nauseam how they want to make my holiday perfect! All have said that we have a 20kg allowance, but none of them will put this in writing.
Will I be OK at check in, or is there trouble ahead?
I have used Thomson and First Choice for many years and have been pleased with them, but this year they seem to be in a mess. They have changed my flight times, told me I had not paid when I had and now this confusion over baggage.
I do not like wasting my time or money waiting on the phone listening to rubbish. If they were so caring they would deal with phone calls much more quickly.
I think it is only Price breakers that have 15kgs.I have had 20kgs even on a late deal.
I think they are the only company giving 20kgs.

Direct holidays give 20kg for hold luggage and in flight meals are included in the DH price and transfers are as well.
Does anyone know if the day before check in service at Gatwick North terminal is available on bank holidays? If we check in the day before then it will be on a bank holiday, I don't want to get there and find it shut, my OH wouldn't be too pleased lol!
I am pleased with their quickish response to my email, but I cannot understand why they told me yesterday that my baggage allowance was nil kg.
It's certainly easier to email Thomsons than try to ring and be held up in a cue listening how much they care about my future holiday.
I'm amazed at the number of people who don't seem to realise that it is Thomson holidays and not Thompson - I guess a lot of people don't read the paperwork etc!
We have a thomson holiday booked for the 16th June to go to the Flamingo Oasis in Benidorm my son stayed at the Villa Mandi with Thomson in Tenerife last year and he tells me you can hire towels through Thomson and return them daily for clean pool towels , does anyone know if this is true

I doubt that is anything to do with Thomson. Probably the hotel that offered the towels. The Villa Mandi is a 4/5 star and so you would probably expect pool towels to be provided. I doubt you will get that at the Flamingo Oasis.
can anybody tell me what plane i will be on and wha tthe seat config is? also is there any news on the new livery for the thomson Airways planes?
I saw a pic of the new uniforms, they didn't look too different.
