I think you can check-in up to 15 days before. Yes, just go to a friends or the local library and you can print off the boarding card. If the flight back is the following day, you will be able to check-in and print at the same time as your outbound flight providing its not more than 15 days in advance.

Ah that's great. Thanks Louise!

We have paid £1.00 each way from Leeds Bradford to Dublin no taxes.
We just couldn't risk not booking yesterday then finding the prices had risen in future!
On todays flight from Valencia to East Midlands the €2 'lucky' scratchcards are now being pushed on a BOGOF (Buy One Get One Free) basis. Pity they dont do that on the €3 cups of tea - maybe they would sell even more.
Chris
normally i have to go to stansted or bournemouth to get good deals, as gatwick does not seem to have as many cheapies as other airports.
The company now claim that if a firm agreement on joint promotion between airlines, tour operators and travel agents can be reached, ‘we could revoke the closure decision'.
Ah well, maybe the 0700ish flights starting from Valencia to some of the UK airports will happen. Interesting to see the East Midlands - Valencia schedule has no flights from late October.
Regards, Chris
Hi, i've just booked flights to Majorca and i thought i would get the option whilst booking to put the passport details in which are required when flying to Spain. Does any body know how i go about doing this. When i have booked flights with easy jet i put the details in whilst booking the flights. It probably means i will have to ring Ryan Air at extortinate rates.
stella7,
I will take a look now.
It probably means i will have to ring Ryan Air at extortinate rates.
if you are in the UK this rate is 10p a minute ! - not cheap but hardly extortinate (in my opinion). I had to use it last month and happy to confirm the price to phone reservations to talk about a booking is as quoted.
Chris
ps internet support is another question - thats £1 a minute - now that is pricey !
The booking was made by his mates mum and I understand she has already booked in online - does anyone know whether they can add a bag?
Many thanks
The other options are
1.Make real effective use of their 10Kg hand luggage allowances. Pack whatever they can into it - making sure they remember the 'liquid/cream' and overall size/weight rules regarding hand luggage and go with the 1 hold case.
ps whatever they buy at the airport and whatever they are carrying must go into each of their hand luggage cases and still not be oversized !
2. If weight of the extra items is a possible problem do not take a suitacse as they normally weigh 3-4 Kgs but pack everything into a very large holdall - if you have one.
3. Chuck everything on the bed and take half of it !! - and what they take they will probably only wear 50% of that !!
PS Remember excess hold baggage is charged at £15 a kilo and at Ryanair checkin they do make you pay excess !!!
Good luck !
Thanks for that - I too think he will have to make sensible use of the 10kg hand lug.
6 adults going for 1 week, what extras on top of the fuel duty etc.. are we in for ? Are there any 'hidden' extras awaiting us ?
The price quoted for the flights, did throw in a £20 per person for 1 item in the hold luggage is this for both ways ? and is there any charge for hand luggage ?
Also why are details of our passports needed to be sent on ? Is this to do with on-line check in ?
We want to get to Alicante the cheapest way, but seems to be quite a bit to sort out before handing over my cash.
Hope someone can give me some answers, have had a browse on this site but lots of out of date info now.
Cheers, Spike.
On top of the basic flight charges......
Online check in - £5.00 per person each way. This MAY be included in the basic flight price if you have got a 'special offer' flight - it will tell you on the basic flight charge screen.
Baggage - £10.00 per bag each way - 15kg, no pooling. Don't forget you have 10kg hand luggage (with size restrictions) which is on top of your 15kg.
Payment Handling Fee - £5.00 per person each way for ANY card except VISA Electron.
Priority Boarding - £3.00 per person each way if you want this.
Make sure you check in online and print your boarding cards - they will now charge £40.00 for this at the airport
The API information is a Spanish Authorities requirement - need to do it online as the information can not be taken at check in.
Think that's it......for now
John
The upside is there are more flights and depending on when you go are most likely to be significantly cheaper - for example in September there are some flights for £10 (includes all airport taxes/fees and online checkin fees). The flights from East Midlands takeoff at 0930 and land at lunchtime - Doncaster flight lands in Alicate around 2335. The downside is an approx. 2hr drive down the A7 from Valencia to Alicante - and of course back up !
......... just a thought on another option which may help you decide what to do.
Chris
John, when are you supposed to send info for passports, and what is required from them ? We are 3 couples spread over Yorkshire and Lincolnshire so need to get my act together prior to booking, ie. got to chase the others.
Also, when do you check in and print off boarding cards ?
Chris - If it was just the 2 of us then East Mids would be fine, but the wife struggles to negotiate round-abouts here, let alone abroad - lefthand, righthand..
Spike.
