LGW-FCN-LGW (TOM4134/5) are operated by an Airbus A320-200. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide.

I have just booked a thomson flight from manchester to paphos can you tell me is there any where I can look at the layout of the plane to see what seats have been taken(like the virgin flights) before I pay to prebook my seats as if there isnt a lot of choice left with me leaving it so late I might not bother thankyou .....There is only the 2 of us :)

a judy,

That's correct, Thomson operate out of T2 at Manchester. They use check-in desks 40-53 normaly (use the central door and they're straight in front of you). Check-in will be open from the early hours. The recommended check-in time is 2 hours before your departure, but you'll be able to check-in 3 or 4 hours before if you want to arrive that early. There isn't any need to get there that early though as seating is pre-assigned the day before and you can't change / choose them at check-in. If you let me have your flight details (there are several flights per week), I can let you know the aircraft type assigned to your flight. It'll be one of: Airbus A320-200, Boeing 757-200, Boeing 767-304/ER (328 short haul) depending on your date of travel. You'll find further aircraft details and some seating plans on our What Aircraft? guide. You can't see which seats are taken online, but you can phone and choose your seats for £5 each per sector 4 week before your departure date.

a judy,

Your flights; MAN-PFO-MAN (TOM2650/1) are operated by a Boeing 757-200. I posted a seating plan on the What Aircraft? guide (link above). These have an all economy layout, only the long haul configured Boeing 767's have a premium cabin. Details on how to pre-book seat numbers is on Thomsons website.

Does anybody know which aircraft fly from MAN to Florida next year

First Choice or Thomson?

September.

Thanks

It will more than likely an ex-First Choice 767, however there is a lot of change at the moment let alone for next summer. Any plans Thomson have will probably change a few times before then.

Having said that they are using an ex Thomsonfly 767 on the route at the moment. It depends on demand, they may switch it to more frequent and use the FC aircraft or less frequent and use the TF 767 with the greater capacity.

a judy,

Don't worry, it's the same aircraft. Boeing designate their aircraft types using the folllowing formula:

AAA-BCC

A - aircraft type, eg 737, 747, 757 etc
B - varient, eg 757-200, 757-300
C - Boeing customer code

For Thomson Airways, their customer code is 04. The generic type is therefore Boeing 757-200. The ones ordered by Thomson Airways (actually Britannia many years ago) is Boeing 757-204. Don't worry about the last 2 digits, they're the same aircraft.

Hi
Wonder if you can help please?
We fly from Manchester to Sanford on 11th July on what we thought is the TOM118

I have just checked on track flight status and it shows yesterdays TOM118 flying to Male :que

Do you know with all the changes if we will be on a Thomsons or First choice aircraft.
I have already chosen our seats in Premium so was wondering what effect any changes of aircraft would have on this?

Thanks :D
