Hi, booked for Sidari Village back last summer ready for summer 2009. Problem is Thomas Cook keep amending our booking:-
1st - Hotel was to be renamed Corfu Panorama - now it is not!!
2nd - Hotel was under refurbishment over winter 2008 ready for summer 2009 - now it has not!!
3rd - just had an e-mail to say the children's club has been removed from the property!!!
As you can appreciate I am concerned whether things have gone downhill since my original booking.
Can anyone help put my mind at rest.
Thanks
p.s. Thomas Cook have offered to amend out booking as long as we pay the difference - bloomin great considering we are going in 4 weeks and there is nothing else around for that time, or if there is it is £3,500 to £4,000 for a family of 4.

hi we stayed at sidari village in june this year only a few rooms have been refurbished the ones right at the top of the hill. There is not a kids club but they do have an entertainment team on site, at 11 ish in morning they start for couple of hours then in evening they do kids hour 8-9 were they do games and dances on small stage then the do a quiz or bingo then they either do a show or game show such as mr and mrs. In mornings they do colouring or sand pictures with kid. We found the swimming pool quite deep the shallow end started at 1.2 meters but the do have a baby pool.
I will be give them a call on Monday and will let you know how i get on.
Thanks
Hi everyone, we have just booked way in advance to go nexy July to the panarama or sidari village, whatever it is called this year, lol. Can anyone tell me what differance is between the rooms as not sure if I have booked the best sort. We have booked 2 rooms to accomodate all 5 of us. I have been told its a garden view one. It just said room 2/3 sole occupancy, booked online but did phone the agents and they were a little unsure but did say they would request adjoining ones. My one daughter is registered disabled and does have walking dificulties so need to get closer to the main part really if possible. Any help or advise would be great thanks.
I would love to hear from anyone else who has been this summer to reassure all is okay.
When I come home I will certainly let you know how everything went.
Hi again, Not sure if this is any help but on a previous holiday I emailed the hotel direct. I had asked if we could have a certain area/room that had been recommended. It worked for me and they were great. It is worth a try if you can find the e-mail address. I can ask at reception when I go and pass on details on my return.
corfupanoramahotel@azek.com,this is an e-mail address.
Thanks for message and email. Will email them perhaps beginning of next year. Perhaps if you can see which are the 'garden rooms' whilst you are there that would be great. It would be great to have a little knowledge of whats what regarding the whereabouts of the rooms. Hope you have a good time when you go I'm sure you will.
i am off to sidari village in 4 weeks , i will wright a report when i return. is anyone else going the same time. there are 6 of us, 4 for 2 weeks and 2 for 1 week, cant wait.
Hi, we have recently stayed at the Sidari village(both names are at the entrance). We had a maisonette room at the top of the hill, there are rooms at the back of the pool which are probably garden rooms as all the others are up a steep hill. There was no kids club when we were there,it would be quite difficult as there are so many different nationalities staying in the complex. We had a great holiday and really enjoyed swimming at the canal d amour.
how was the food?
Hi,we are all vegetarians so we can only comment on that type of food which was good compared to previous holidays. There was always something hot for us,as well as the usual salads.Choice of fresh fruit was very limited.Meals were very european. Our only downside was the veg was always overcooked, the usual for buffet food.Bar snacks were limited to cheese or spinach pie
Hi we have booked the maisonette room are they all in a particular place on the hill . Is there standard 3 beds upstairs as we have booked it for 5 people stated with our agent. Any information welcome.
I would be interested in knowing that as we were told they could not acccomodate 5 in one room? May depend on the age of your youngest perhaps as mine is 6 years old when we go.
Hi,there are 2 beds upstairs one is a single and the other is a fold up bed. Downstairs there is 2 single beds and a single sofa bed.
The maisonette rooms are advertised as 2- 5 people.Does anybody know where the maisonette room are ? particular area on hill ?
