I totally agree about C Montgri way too overcrowded hence why we went to CDP but although as i said the resort was lovely The entertainment programme at siesta consisted of one quiz all week not good enough. So poor I actually went on the internet in the bar and found alternative arrangements my 13 year old twin boys did not enjoy it and I just feel it was because it was near the end of the season and the reps were having more fun amongst themselves and saying goodbye to the waiters.
Hi simikins I will certainly look out for you, our kids are similar age and you've given me good descriptions of yours to go on. I'm with hubby, son aged 13 who is turning into Kevin and daughter aged 11. Still battling the stone myself, lets revise it to half of one, we can do that in 3 weeks!!!
Tickets arrived today, Tece so far i've lost 8lbs.
Have you looked for the webcam for CDP its great.I tried posting the full link but was not allowed.
Hi camandcurt ... is it one of these:
the second one gets you to it but it has finquesfrigola in the link the camera actually points down to the lovely little beach in CDP with a biege building and rocks in the foreground.I had a look today and the weather looks lovely i envy anyone going soon.
I was looking on the la siesta web page, and clicked on the links page, the 3rd site on the links page has a spanish site that does virtual tours of CDP, the kids and i spent about an hour happily touring the streets the other day.
I'm watching the weather forcast on a daily basis now and counting down the days.
Getting very excited now, only 17 days to go.
I'd guess that the Siesta Lodges will have english plugs as the UK tour operators usually do.
Eighteen days for us, I'm driving everyone mad at home with how much I keep going on about it.
hi... yes they do have english sockets....was in delux 8 a few years ago and had them then
You are all making me jealous talking about CDP, i really hope to be going back there next year, on our big driving adventure. Remember to post a report when you come back
* Note to Scots, Welsh, and N. Irish ... your plugs will also work in these 'English' sockets
Sorry Cider, i'll rephrase it to UK sockets ...............16 days to go
Lucky you, I only have a week in Blackpool, plus a week at my caravan to look forward to now. I'll enjoy them, but it's nice to have the wall to wall sunshine too
I'm still not sure whether to book a chalet or an apartment next year for CDP
I like the look of those wooden huts.
Glad i'm not going this week, on the weather thing at the top of here it has thunderstorms and rain forecast for most of next week, i'm only going for a week and i need sunshine.

the trunks probably mean speedos like you say....but my lads all wear swimming shorts and havent had any problems....I think sensible swim wear is what they really want....if you wear normal swimming shorts they wont be bothered....I think its to stop you wearing those great big knee length ones
there is the possibility some males have been skinny dipping ....hence must wear trunks rule
another possibility is they want toppless women in the pool ....to encourage more men to sit at the pool side and boosting pool bar sales....
Just looking on the webcam and it's nice and sunny even though the forecast says otherwise, I've not had any trunks rules with the siesta bumph, maybe it just means no skinny dippers, personally i think there should be a law against speedos.
