Please can anyone tell me how far or how long it takes in a taxi from Ciudad Quesada AND if there are plenty of bars and restaurants once you get there. Any information would help.

If you head from the square straight up towards the mountains, passing Buddies bar and the Palm Court Apartments. When you reach the top of that road (it runs out eventually!), turn left and Tommys is on your left hand side. You'll pass their boards all the way from the Buddies crossing!
Well we finally got to see Panchos. It looks great, well I think so but I'm not so sure about the atmosphere. No machines for the kids to play on, but suppose that can be seen as a good thing!
I'll just have to keep going back there until I get used to it I suppose!!!!

He starts a season in Blackpool this weekend, so I suppose he probably wishes he was.
Joes been doing Blackpool for years and loves the place. He was over here in Beni a few weeks back, i believe he got quite "tipsy"

Yeah I remember Gil Damon, the rumour went round a year or so ago that he'd died! Turned out he was still alive and working in Majorca (or somewhere like that!!)!!!
A good Neil Diamond tribute (who unfortunately isn't in Benidorm at the moment) is Gary Ryan, another one from Stars in Your Eyes (he was on it tho), he comes out for about a month a time a few times a year. Works in Steptoes when he is here! Worth a look IMO, sounds a lot like the man himself!
