)2) Been to Rethymno before & been to Knossos & Heraklion museum ---both fab & might do again.
Apart from Spinalonga which is a definite is there anywhere else that is a must-see in this area?
3) Is Sitia worth a visit & have read it might be possible to go there by boat? Or would car hire be a better option?
4)Any other general tips/recommendations that anyone can pass on would be most welcome
