http://www.a2btransfers.com and a shuttle bus works out at £80.60 return for 2 people so it's not cheap. It's quite a distance from the airport (appx 50mins) but even so seems a little excessive. Resorthoppa is a lot cheaper so maybe have a look at their website http://www.resorthoppa.com/
I've had a look on The local taxi company in El gouna is el Gouna Limosines

If you are staying in a hotel, they will also arrange airport collection for you
Thanks Tam and Judith for your swift and knowledgeable replies. I now have a number of options to pursue. I had not occurred to me thathe hotel will arrange a transfer. This is probably my prefererred option providing the cost is reasonable. I intend to stay at either the Movenpick, or the Sheraton Miramar. I will report back my findings when my research is complete.
We arranged our own transfers in August. We booked through:
http://www.gotohurghada.net
E Mail address: gotohurghada@yahoo.com
Contact Name: Mohammad Chawki
Mohammad was very professional and efficient and would have no hesitation in using him again. Have just had a quick look on his site and he charges £14 in total per way for 2-4 passengers to El Gouna. He also arranged our visa's for us at a cost of £13 each.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Pat
