its very tricky once you have had the good quality food at lykia and the fab views, nothing comes close to it. i like to have nice views around me. i hated the aegean dream last yr, letoonia is the second best to lykia so far lol

i went on the choo choo once and that was enough came off feeling sick, ellie and her friend went on another twice and then her mate was sick when we got home and had yesterday off school oops lol. it took us 1.5 hrs to get there so a bit further for us

the corfu booking is because my older 2 and their partners are coming so trying to occupy all of them from ages 10mths to 22 lol, this aqua park seemed the answer , not my cup of tea lol, but heh nice to have all my family going and my daughter will have had her baby by then too

Must admit when we went last year even though we went for a fortnight we never ate a la carte. We ate at either the marina, but the wasps got on our nerves, so mainly the residence which we really liked, but of course no views. I couldnt really justify all the charges for the a la cartes what with their being 4 of us and not being certain if the teens would get food they liked there. The buffet foods were excellent probably the best I have ever had at this type of hotel. We did go into olu deniz probably every other evening, I guess if you drank in the bars of a night you could spend a fair bit though. As they charge in Euros, I dont suppose the exchange rate is helping much.

bridd any idea of colour scheme for gala night, we didnt go last time so would like to this time, we will be there week of 19th oct thanks

It was black/white on Sunday 13th so you should be able to work it out as it'll be red/black next Sunday and so on. If you will be there Sunday 25th Oct it should be black/white again (I think)

It's not a huge deal and it might vary. Last Sunday dinner had a few extras. Lovely seafood at the Marina. Crayfish cooked in front of you and a HUGE baked alaska I seem to remember. They had a gala show at the village pool with water ballet type stuff and a free cocktail; then fireworks and those hot air balloons that you set light to and let them go. Then a disco.

How many times have you been Gregg? I still say we will go back to LW but we're trying another 5*AI this year which comes up cheaper for us. I keep recommending it though. Maybe we'll get there next year, if the price is right. Happy holidays!

hi,

i think this is the 7th time over 6 years, went twice in one year ...... a month apart.... came home and went to work, and booked it for the following month !!! am i crazy !!!

got a good deal with thomas cook and good flights 08.25 departure from gatwick and arrives back at gatwick at 17.45.

hopefully they have listened to holiday makers and dropped their prices at the bar, spa and other restaurants ??

would like to try the restaurants but not going to pay rip off prices. just going to chill out by the blue lagoon adults pool and relax in the village area in the evening ...... roll on 21st june :cheers

had so many freebies left in our room .... this year going to ask for a partnership :rofl

Hi all

Just in the process of booking Lykia World Antalya for 10 days in August this year.

Previously stayed oludeniz 4 years ago and had a great holiday.

Being bit of a Gym bunny - just wondering what the facilities are like in LW Antalya?
seen a few photos of cardio machines but nothing else :que

Would be ideal if there's resistance machines r even free weights?

I've booked via Tomas Cook and I was just wondering if they offer day trips to local towns/markets through the my tour operator?
not really keen on spending 20 Euro on a Red Bull or 65 Euro on a Taxi to the nearest civilisation

Zain - my husband and son used the gym. There are two. They said the one in the Residence is the better one. You have to pay. I think it was fully equipped with new modern machines.

I expect your tour operator will offer a trip to Fethiye Market. Whether it is cheaper than a taxi may depend on how many are in your party. A taxi into Olu Deniz won't cost a lot, though. It is not far. Prices of taxis are displayed in reception.
