lol, it may amuse you to know that the road down to the beach , across from the hotel is fairly steep and a bit of a drag.. So I don't think she will want to join you at the beach .
Joking apart ... if you contact the hotel manager( Dianne ) she may be able to accomodate you in one of the lower apartments so that its easier for your mother in law . The hotel web-site is :
