no they havent done a bowel sample , they have done blood, stool, urine samples and scans.
his parents have just told me they are going to pay for the consultation , so thats good of them
dr said hes ok to go on holiday providing hes sensible with his eating and drinking, as hes managing to carry on as normal at the moment just got niggling pain most of the time, that increases from time to time
just waiting for the drs surgery to contact this private hospital to make sure its right consultant etc, shes going to ring me back later

but omg had a terrible day, my friends hubby has just had a heart attack,hes in ITC all his organs seem to be failing grr and hes only 35 and was coming to turkey with us. he was saying to oz on fri glad your blood results are good etc and now hes on the way out ,what a shock

Glad to hear that Oz has got his appointment, but awful about your friends heart attack, so young too hope he pulls through.
its not looking good, both kidneys have gone into failure, 1 lung and his liver packing up, omg all due to a urine infection thats spread thoughout his body 
, looks like hes not going to survive and its my birthday tomorrow so hope he doesnt die tom , this has spurred me on to get oz sorted quicker though

Just wanted to say I'm thinking about you. Hope things are looking better for your friend today.
we are going to contact the insurance co, but the dr thinks because we booked this holiday before oz became ill , he should still be covered, but i will definitely contact them as im sure they will get out of it if they can
not heard anything re my friend this morning, i feel numb in such shock over how that has happened so quickly, apparantly about 15 years ago he had a very bad bout of gladular fever and was given penicillin which he was allergic too, so he got rushed into hospital and it was touch and go then, which left his ammune system very low for the rest of his life, hence this possible urine infection have such a terrible reaction, im hoping for a miracle , he is such a lovely, kind ,caring and thoughful man

thx, waiting for big daughter to come over today, she taking me out for lunch, then we were going out for a meal with this couple tonight, ill still go with hubby but so sad,my oldest daughter is 34 weeks pregnant so thats something to look forward too at least. never felt so sad on my birthday before

Hi ,sorry to hear your husbands problems,I have bladder problems causing many infections ,therfore when you said occasional antibiotic drip ,I would query occasional antibiotics should be administered as a course ,ie 3, 7 01 days depending on the bacteria,best wishes and hope your hubby well soon,maxie

Hopefully when your hubby sees a specialist, they will get to the root of the problem and can start the proper treatment to get him fighting fit again. It is worth every penny to get him sorted out asap.

Now I'm catching up with the previous few days posts Ellie-Meg. What a terrible time for you all. I'm sending my regards to Oz and also to your poor friend-so young too. I know it must seem trivial but I'm wishing you a Happy Birthday regardless.
