What If You Seat The Printer To Landscape?

Its ok now, i used the live chat function on their website and they said that many people have the same problem - as long as all the words are visible and the bar code hasn't been cut off its fine!

Thanks Gower - will try to print out over the weekend.

I must be the only person in the world that hasn't flown EasyJet before:

I have booked flights to Marrakech 1st January 2010 (flight 8895) returning 8th January 2010 (flight 8896).

I have paid for speedy boarding.

Can anyone give me any information on the planes we will be travelling on and tips on where to sit?

Also - am I right in thinking that no drinks/snacks are provided on EasyJet flights, and if so do they allow you to take your own on board?

haymans74,

You'll find aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide. Seating is personal preference. It makes little difference really as most seats are alike. As they operate a low cost service, no drinks or meals are provided as park of your fare. You can take your own refreshments onboard if you wish, bearing in mind security restrictions, or purchase items onboard. Only alcohol purchased onboard the flight can be consumed. It's not permitted to drink duty free items.

Sarah, if you're travelling without children you may prefer to choose exit seats giving you more legroom as Easyjet don't charge extra for these seats. They're on a first come first served basis so whoever boards quickest usually get these seats. They are usually taken by speedy boarders such as yourselves. Row 1 is an exit row and also 2 rows somewhere further back over the wings, maybe rows 12 and 13? Exit seats have a different coloured headrest so are easy to spot.

You can sit on the row 1 seats if you have children too, as long as the adult is sitting in the aisle seat for take off and landing. That's where we sat on the way to Bodrum this year and it was great, lots of room and we were the first off the plane too.

Nick. They've always come out over 2 pages the several times I've done it. This year I managed to get the cutting line on the page break so they didn't have to rip it. But in my experience it doesn't really matter so long as it's all there in some form. The barcode has only been used at passport control at Gatport Airwick when I've used the online system. Sometimes they give you an ordinary card stub at the gate, other times not. But I've done it loads of times since they introduced it & never had a problem.

Printing boarding passes - does anyone know if we get more than one attempt to print out our passes as our printer is playing up at the moment - sometimes it prints and sometimes it doesn't.
Jean, I had printer problems as well. My experience was that you can print off as many times as you like within each occasion you log in & go to the print boarding card option, as until you exit you can always go back & forwards between the individual cards if say there are 2+ of you. However, again my experience was, you can only choose the print boarding card option twice from the booking view page.

Hope that helps

Thanks Pete for your info

The printer has decided not to work at all now - but I shall keep trying. Otherwise we shall just have to join the queue and check in at Gatwick.

Hi Dazbo, any info on the easy jet plane that had to abort a landing at 12.50 pm the other week ? just interested that's all it was reported in the algarve resident but with no detail, it landed safely 10 mins later blaming technical probs !!.

nosivad,

It was a non-event really. The aircraft had a technical problem, went around while the crew managed the situation and landed safely!

Hi, im flying from Gatwick-Toulouse this Friday on EZY5333 and was wondering what plane they will use - is it just the standard A319?
Reply
nickappel,

EZY5333 is indeed operated by an A319-100.
