Kata is very quiet but Karon has restautants for every taste and price range.

Hardly call Kata quiet these days - plenty of restaurant and bar choices

We stayed at the Kata Thani hotel..and near us were about 4 restaurants..all very quiet.
If you walked up and down the hill to the main Kata area, there were loads more restaurants...

rubbish with names..but the Dino bar did well, done out like Fred Flintstones cave..there were a few steak houses/grill houses.
We ate at a nice place on the corner near a coffee house (again..sorry rubbish with names) and that did quite a few nice pasta dishes if you dont fancy eating Thai food...

most places offer food of different nationalities as well as the Thai food. Even the most fussiest of eaters will not starve!

In my local Thai restaurant in the UK, they do a dish called weeping tiger, which is an excellent steak dish with a spicy sauce...

Has anyone seen this in Thailand anywhere??
