Hi all

My family has had somewhat of an annus horribilis this year, with a lot of family and personal problems. Please, please, please can someone help us find a cheap deal for 1 week, somewhere hot at Christmas. All we ask is that it is child friendly and close (ish) to the beach. Would prefer Tenerife/Canaries etc, because it's likely to be hot/warm etc.

Family is:

Mum
Dad
Daughter (25 years old)
Daughter (18 years old)
Twin boys (12 years old)

Would prefer to fly from Manchester, but beggers can't be choosers, so we'll consider anywhere.
Would prefer to be in England on Christmas Day (Ie. we could go the week before, or the week after)

I have tried searching myself, but keep coming up with ridiculous Pop ups, daft prices and places we don't want to go. I have previously asked for advice on this site and users have been fantastic and come up with some fantastic ideas and cracking deals. Obviously, a lot of you guys & gals have better knowledge than I do of the best sites/agents etc.

Of course, the budget I have to spend is a big factor!!

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

PS, I'm assuming Canaries is best value, although maybe I'm wrong??? Maybe other countries are now better value? Maybe other countries are as warm at Xmas?
