Sounds a good idea,we went to Icmeler for a day and loved it,I'll be watching your post and see if I can get some ideas too!! I ould like to go there next year,we stayed in Marmaris,think we chose the wrong resort but loved Turkey.T.

We have been to Turunc several times, and this year we stayed at Burak apartments for the second time. They are very central, spotlessly clean and very nice owners who do not hassle you. Then depending on how many of you are going there is Villa Dantella, which is a private villa about ten minutes walk from the centre, which we would highly recommend, but this is for large groups - fourteen of us stayed there last year and this year they added extra rooms.

If you are looking for commercially run apartments Burak seem a good choice. We know people who have regularly stayed there and enjoyed themselves. Also the Rose apartments seem to have a good reputation.
If you are looking for privately owned there are quite a lot now that are available for rent. Google something like 'Turunc apartment' and you'll find a few different links to good quality accommodation. You'll find a lot of info on Turunc as well on these websites.

Thank you for the interesting replies i emailed the Burak this afternoon for some info £25 per night (not bad ) does not say if air/con was in price.e went to the Kapmar in Icmeler in Oct very good hotel no problems will go back there next June but just want a split hols.Once again thank you.

Yes, we paid £25 per night for the apartment, and this includes aircon. When are you going? We have got our flight booked for 21st June 2010.
