Shacks are there, dont panic. Our favourite is Claudinas (1st one on the left at the bottom of beach road)

Most people think of a beach hut as somewhere to sleep and stay at for a few nights but a shack is somewhere eat and drink also spend a day on a sun bed.

Lots of shacks on the CCB strip but need to travel further north or down south for beach huts

when we left Goa in early December they were building beach shacks all along Candolim beach, way past the River Princess towards Sinquerim.

The beach at Sinquerim towards Fort Aguarda was quite badly eroded, massive bags of sand meant to keep the monsoon tides back were exposed and looked like beached whales.

There were very few beach shacks along there, to be honest, there wasn't a lot of flat land to build anyway but by now they may have sorted that out.

Maybe your friends meant THAT part of Candolim beach.

thanks for the replies, i did mean shacks which most of you guessed not beach huts.

got back Friday and all the candolim shacks were there, they pulled one down with machetes one day as they had no licence, but the next day they built it up again still without a licence, funny thing was an english man was helping them build it ..... I dont think its fare if all the other shacks have to fork out why should non payers be allowed to do that?
