Hi All
I am usually an Icmeler holiday person, and I am still going for my usual 2 x 2 week holiday this year in June and October, but we really need a short break and have booked for Salou for 1 week, departing April 26th.
We got a great bargain this morning and had Hotel San Diego (not even checked the review section yet, but will do) for 1 weeks half board for £185 each.
One of the things I wanted to ask, is what do you usually do about money. Its been years since we went to Spain, and we used to take Travellers Cheques. When we go to Turkey, we just use our Nationwide Flexi Account, to withdraw money daily, as there are no charges in Turkey, but I believe it would incur charges in Spain. Is it best to take all cash, and leave it in the safety depost box and exchange it over there? Are the rates better there than they are at home?
Apart from that query, my only other query is what the weather is usually like end of April, beginning of May? We are not really expecting it to be that hot, but it would be a bonus. After all, its bound to be better than the weather we are having at home
Thanks to anyone who can help.
No charges in Spain. I've been using the flex card for many years now and it's always free withdrawals from the ATM's (I always try and look for the Telebanco's)
Thank you Chivas.
