THe only extra charge you will have is the charge for which ever debit/credit card you use which i think averages out around 2.5%. The Shuttlebus they use runs throughout the day/night you can sometimes wait for awhile at the airport if they are waiting for more than one flight to come in...much the same as via a tour operators coach...sometimes you get lucky and are away straight away! There is a desk which you go to just before you reach the exit doors of the arrivals hall...they will show you where your coach/mini bus is!
The only other thing to mention with regards transfers to the Mont Park, is that because the Hotel is up a steepish hill which is narrow and difficult for coaches...they will probably drop you off and pick you up again just at the bus stop at the bottom near Burger King...but its only 2 mins walk up the hill to the hotel!

Ok any hotels you know of that would be good for All Inclusive?
Bear in mind AI hotels are starting to attract the interest of Stag & Hen groups and you said thats not really what you wanted, but i stayed at Los Dalmatus in December (on Full Board) and it was very good!

I personally, don't want to do AI at all.
Is full board worth the extra vs half board? If the meals are cheap compared to over there, then I'd prefer half board, having our main meal at the hotel, but be able to chill and eat out during the day.
Also..If you do decide to go Full Board you can always order a packed lunch the night before if you don't think that you are going to get back for Lunch.
On the other hand, if you decide on Half Board, most hotels let you have Lunch instead of Dinner which may be worth considering if you want a few meals out on an evening.
Have fun.

The Mont Park doesn't seem to get very good reviews and I think that it's more geared up for the Spanish and before everyone starts shouting at me yeh.. I know it's Spain but not everyone likes Spanish entertainment/food e.t.c.
I think the Presidente is way overpriced compared to the others given that they are all 3* hotels which leaves the Pubelo and The Calypso.. Well it would have to be the Calypso if I was booking.. slightly better location and much better reviews, a little more expensive than the Pubelo but IMO worth the extra.

Thanks for the reply Sue, they were all found on Travel Republic and that's the ones it brought up as 'Customer Favourite'.
I've booked a few times with Travel Republic and everything's been fine, perhaps instead of looking up favourites, look at lowest price first and put a few on here to get some opinions.
The Mont Park, is a hotel that suits me perfectly, as Sue says some reviews of it are not particularily favourable, but if you check most of the poor ones are from a little while ago. If you check the reviews of it one Travel Republic, Tripadvisor and on here they seem to be getting more favourable. Its not a hotel to stay in of an evening, because there's no entertainment for Brit tastes, but i only use a hotel for bed and food, and found the food very good here. Reception staff a bit surely, but all others were fine. Its usually amongst the cheapest of the 3 star hotels in Beni, and in a good location. I stayed there for 2 weeks last year and am doing again in Sept! I got it for £474 Full Board for 2 weeks ( which for a single room which are always more expensive wasn't bad!)...it was only £25 more for Full over Half Board for the fortnight, which is why i went for that, i will probably have Tapas on a few occasions for lunch, but at least ive not paid much extra, and will certainly justify paying Full Board on this occasion!...I'd have liked to have booked the Dalmatus really but that was over £650, so i couldn't justify the extra £175 it would have cost me...get a few drinks with that!...The Pelicanos amazingly was £1,070 for the same 2 weeks!
But for a first time in Benidorm, if i were you i'd book the Calypso, plenty of Brits stay there, the servi group hotels are all of a decent standard, and the location is good!

It's now from £160 per person up to £175. Not much I guess but not sure why the prices rise? Is it probs because their rooms are getting booked up quickly?
The Presidente is £167.87 per person with the Mont Park £137.19 (was £141) ... is it now better to book with the Mont Park or stick with Calypso?
We're booking the hotel tomorrow and a good job by the sounds of things.
If the rooms are selling reasonably well, then prices will go up, as they've less need to discount them!

the Nereo or the Rialto would be my choice , some great wee boozers near by , and its quite quiet.
