Hi, I was told to come back during May to ask whether TOM 2622 on 10/07/10 is operated by an ex-TOM or ex-FCA aircraft.
Do you have this information yet? If so i would be grateful to know.
Thanks in advance, sparky123.
TOM2622/3 are currently operated by a former First Choice 75W. However, aircraft are regularly rotated and this is subject to change between now and July.

garryb,
left for airport 6-00 am on 11th..as instructed. on arrival Birmingham...flight re scheduled to 1550 pm... meal voucher issued... then later we were transferred by bus to a local hotel to spend the day....had lunch.. quite good considering the short notice they were given... we spent the day just hanging out in the Hotel... buses came for us at 6-00pm...back to Birmingham... ..flight now rescheduled to 2130 pm... booked in..thru to departures...and then the long wait... eventually boarded and told going to Manchester as crew were out of time, and new crew to take over. Landed manchester..when pilot advised that they could not find a crew or pilot ...so sending buses to take us back to terminal in Manchester... collected luggage... and qued to board buses to take us to a local Hotel for the night. this was just on midnight. arrived at Hotel in Manchester..given room. next morning Wednesday at 9-30 bus returns to take us back to Manchester airport. booked in all over again... this time we are told departure will be aprox 1-0 pm... had a nice breakfast whilst waiting... and made way to boarding gate when told... you guessed it... no crew or pilot yet again...in transit.... we eventually left Manchester at somewhere about 3-0 pm enroute Dominican... flight okay... but everyone very tired. arrived Dominican aprox 9-30 pm local time..and then to buses.... suppose i should mention... quite a few people gave up at Manchester and returned home... they were told to claim on their insurance...but of course because the holiday had started...they will not have much luck... am doing a daily diary of my holiday, which anyone thinking of booking for Dreams La Roma would find interesting.... keep an eye on the Dreams La Roma thread in next couple of days..it could save you a bit of money... regards to all Gingerdennis
Hi I am going out on tom 1100 from glasgow tom morning keeping eye on ash cloud at the moment, can anyone tell me what flight plane is used for before ours, just thinkin if i keep an eye on where plane is will give me better idea of what may happen,
The flight before TOM1100 to LPA is TOM386/7 to/from Monastir. It arrives back in GLA at 0600 Monday morning for your flight at 0715.
Darren
Thanks Darren
We are supposed to be on TOM 594 to Monastir at 19.15 tonight!!!!!from Manchester Do you know ithe plane has been diverted somewhere else and where is it coming from and if we have any chance of getting off. Will be leaving for the airport about 14.30 if we don't hear anything to the contrary
I can't tell you where the aircraft will be I'm afraid. It depends on the restrictions through today and where Ops send it in order to minimse problems for returning passengers. I suspect it'll end up in Birmingham with bus services between the airports, but don't quote me on that. You'll just have to keep an eys on Thomsons website and arrive at the airport when you are scheduled to, and take it from there.
Darren
Just wondering if you happen to know yet if TOM046 from LGW to SFB on 9th October & TOM047 from SFB to LGW on 23rd October will be an ex FCA plane?
Many thanks
Ang
LGW-SFB-LGW (TOM046/7) are currently operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER.

I'm not sure if this is on the right board so apologies if not!
I'm flying to Santorini in July and have had to request extra leg room because of a medical condition. I'm not allowed an exit seat because I have a problem with my legs so the best that they can offer me is a bulkhead seat. The only thing is that they've said that they can't actually guarantee that the bulkhead will have more legroom but it's the only thing that they can do. My concern is that as it's a wall in front of me instead of a seat I could actually end up with less legroom rather than more.
I'm flying with Thomson but have no idea on what type of plane. They've also told me that as I haven't paid extra there's no guarantees that I'll be sitting with my boyfriend but by the end of the flight I'll be in pain and my legs will have completely seized up so I'll want him there for both physical help and to help me take my mind off the pain. Not sure if I'll be better off cancelling my extra leg room request so that 1, there's more chance of being able to sit with my boyfriend and 2, I've not got the risk of having even less legroom than in a seat.
Has anyone got any experience that might help me here?
Thanks
Rachel
Is there a list available which details which one of Thompsons 752s will operate this flight?
Thanks
Flying to Sharm from Birmingham on Thursday 27th May...can you confirm the airoplane , seat configuration and whether there is seat back tvs please. If there are seat back TV's can you provind the link to what wil be available please
Thomson Airways rotate their aircraft regularly for operational and maintenance reasons. Aircraft aren't based at any particular airport for a whole season. For that reason, there isn't a list of particular aircraft at a particular airport as it changes often. We can give you an idea of the aircraft likely to operate flights the day before your flight. It makes little difference in any case. Other than an odd seat and the slightly different seat design between the form First Choice (gree leather) and Thomsonfly (blue leather) aircraft, there's no difference inside.
Darren
BHX-SSH-BHX (TOM844/5) are operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304/ER (short haul / winglets). These have seat back IFE throughout. The long haul IFE listing is here. Not all these will be available, it will be a couple from the list assuming the system has been updated to the May / June as there was a delay due to the ash cloud in updating it from the March / April selection.
