LGW-AZS-LGW (TOM050/1) are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets). You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi

Flying Man - Paphos on TOM2316 on Weds 16 June and returning on TOM231 on 23 June.

What aircraft will operate these flights and will they be ex FCA or TOM (We flew same day, same flights last year and it was ex FCA out and Thomson return)?

Will there be seat back IFE systems?

Where can we find out what movies etc will be available?

Thanks for your help

tabbycat,

Technical problem with the aircraft I believe.

Malchester,

MAN-PFO-MAN (TOM2316/7) are operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304/ER (short haul / winglets). Seatback IFE is provided throughout. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). The long haul IFE listing is here. Not all these will be available, it will be a couple from the list assuming the system has been updated to the May / June as there was a delay due to the ash cloud in updating it from the March / April.

Hi,

Can i check about my seats I have booked for TOM078 LGW-Cancun 19th june. I have booked seats 3a and 3b, can you tell me if these seats are the very front seats or are there seats infront?
Also, do you know where this flight is coming from as yet?

many thanks, kat x :)

kwikslipgirl,

Your seats are located in the front of the aircraft, in the premium cabin. Row 2 is infront of yours. The aircraft currently looks like it'll be coming in from Sanford (TOM048/9) or La Romana (TOM062/3).

Hi
Not sure if I've missed the plot whilst read previous Q&As, but can you tell me if the flight bhx-mbj-bhx 3rd June 2010, has to stop for refueling, if so where and for how long.

Thanks.

It's too early to know as your flights are in the winter 2010 seasons. I suspect it'll be a former First Choice aircraft, but we'll not know until November.

Cheers Darren.

Thought it probably was too early. Is there much difference in the two then, or have they all been brought up to the same standard? Will be going Premium

Cheers again.
Reply
SAEAGLE,

The main differences are the cabin sizes; 5 rows / 31 seats in the ex-TOM and 9 rows / 63 seats on the ex-FCA. Seat pitch is slightly different although there's only 1" in to so not really noticable. The seats are slight different design but facilities and everything else is the same. There's more information on our What Aircraft? guide.

Cheer again Darren.

Can't say I would notice much between 36 or 37, so that is ok.

Do you have any recommendations on which seats to aim for? Although I think we can only select them 90days before, and then luck of the draw if we are together, from what I can gather.

Cheers in advance.

SAEAGLE,

Seating is always personal preference so it's whatever you prefer really. There's not really anything in it. Some don't like the front seats as although they have plenty of room infront, those with long legs can't always strech them out fully. As the toilet is on the left side of the aircraft, some prefer to be on the left isle for ease of access. If it's a former FCA, row 9 doesn't have a window.

Thanks Darren, will take that into consideration when we are actually allowed to choose our seats.

Have never flown premium in these sorts of airlines so not sure what to expect. Just as long as I can stretch and have a half decent kip, I am good to go.

SAEAGLE,

You'll certainly be able to do that. There's several photos of the aircraft and cabins linked on the What Aircraft? guide to give you an idea of what to expect.
