What a day we are having! We were supposed to be flying to Larnaca this morning at 11.00 am but a flock of birds flew into our plane as it was leaving Larnaca first thing this morning and it caused damage so had to return to airport.

We had to wait until midday for more info having checked in at 8.15am, to be told new plane now needed and flight delayed until 00.45!!!

We have come back home (they did provide a hotel for those who wanted it but they told us a room was booked but when we arrived it was to find it was one communal lounge for 180+ people)! and will be returning to do it all again this evening!

It is really strange being back home with all our lugguge checked in at the airport!

When we booked this holiday we were so pleased with the flight times
