Probably atc restrictions, if the aircraft is based in alc then it will have probably built up delays all through the day, probably just a knock on effect. I can't even remember the last time I flew to Spain and didn't have an atc restriction, joys of summer I'm afraid!
There are 15 of us arriving Saturday afternoon including kids & I'd prefer an idea of where to head rather than everyone go off on a search
Thanks
All Ryanair desks are 'bag drop' because you need to check in online! The desks can be anywhere in the Ryanair area - J, K sections are the most likely ones ... ie if you are entering the terminal from the outside, they are on the far LEFT hand side.
Found the online check in part of the website. However, it says I am only checking in for the outbound flight. So for the inbound do we just check in at the airport in palma as normal?
http://www.ryanair.com/en/questions/how-do-i-check-in-online . Ordinary A4 paper is fine, as is a black only printer but it will need to be a reasonably clear print - which rules mine out at the moment! If you use water based ink cartridges make sure you keep the print safe and dry - it's easy to be messing with car/luggage in the rain then get the passes out with wet hands and smudge the print!
Details are on their website at
Hi, I have managed to check in and successfully print boarding passes. However the boarding passes were only for the outbound flight. What happens with the inbound flight. How do I get boarding passes for those flights? Please help.
when is the return flight?
As per the Ryanair website as on the link given by steve8482, you can only do online check in 15 days before the actual flight. So you are probably too early at the moment for the return part. You must check in online, either before you go or, if the holiday is too long, you need to get internet access during the holiday. The charge is punitive if you check in at the airport (£40 per passenger)
The return flight is the 19th august, so thats quite a bit more than 15 days. I just assumed you would be able to get the return flight passes at the same time as the outbound ones. Thanks very much for all your help.

Do not assume anything with Ryanair because you will pay dearly! Double check that you have read and understood all the check-in/luggage/boarding rules and regs.

You will be able to check in online for the return flight on 4 August, which is 15 days beforehand.
Make sure that you do, otherwise you will have to pay £40 per person for another boarding pass for your return flight.
Each boarding pass must be on a separate A4 sheet of paper. Do not cut it, but you can fold it.

have booked Ryanair flights from East Mids to Lanzarote (out 23rd Nov, back 30th Nov).
The flights on the Ryanair site are showing the following times:
Out
Tue23 Nov 10
FlightFR 3172 06:45 Depart
10:55 Arrive
Rtn
Tue30 Nov 10
FlightFR 3173 11:30 Depart
16:00 Arrive
When I check the same flight info on the East Midlands airport site they are coming out at :
Out
13:45 17:55 FR 3172 Ryanair ACE 07/09/2010 - 21/07/2011
Rtn
18:30 23:00 FR 3173 Ryanair ACE 07/09/2010 - 21/07/2011
Which is likely to be the correct timings for these flights? If the East Mids airport times are correct, why would Ryanair still be selling them with the flight times that they have?
Thanks
I would think Ryanair's timings are more likely to be correct, as that is live and constantly updated flight availability information, whereas seasonal timetable information on airport websites may not be regularly updated as and when any schedule changes occur after initial publication.
thanks David
l'm going to Lanzarote at the end of August and in the documents there was no airline tickets, it did say l have to get the tickets on line from Ryanair .
Can someone tell me how l go about doing this and do l get charged.
Is there a certain period l can get the tickets on line or can l do this now...
Also there was a letter saying l need to give passport details over before travelling...How do l do this and do l get charged for this also....
Like other no frills airlines Ryanair is a ticketless airline. All you need to check in is your confirmation number which will appear on your print out that you had when you made the original booking. API (Advanced passenger information), is now required by many airlines. On the Ryanair website there is a section called "manage my booking" - If you click on this it will give you different options. One will be "my booking" - if you click on this it will take you take you to the section where you can enter your passport no's etc. Hope this helps & enjoy your hols.
Make sure you check in online from 15 days before the flight date, otherwise you will be charged £40 per person for the boarding pass if you don't print it out.
If you time it right you should be able to check in and print off your boarding pass for the return as well as the out bound flight.

You say 15 days before the flight date so l cannot do it yet , is that right or do you mean l have to do it now . Do l have to pay for this online facility.luci HT Mod wrote:You should have a Ryanair booking reference which you can use to access your flight details online.

Can you also explain what you mean by if l time it right l should be able to check in and print off my boarding pass for the return as well as the outbound flight... l getting confused now ..
If you are due to depart on 25 August then you could check in for your outward bound flight on 10 August. However if you are going for 2 weeks your return date would be 8 September. If you leave it until 24 August to check in, you will be able to check in for both the outward and inward bound flights.
You need to print off your boarding passes, each on a separate A4 piece of paper. Do not cut them.
If you do not present a boarding pass at check in they will charge you £40 per person each way.
It may be advisable to read the Ryanair website as all the information is there.
Where people come unstuck is when they don't read the information or abide by the rules.
Hand luggage is 10kgs per person and only one bag per person. Anything you buy at the airport must be contained within that one bag.
If you have paid for hold baggage it is 15kgs unless you have paid extra for 20 kgs.
