We had 1 Select room & 1 Standard room last year. Our 2 teenage boys shared the Standard room (1 V large king size bed). I wouldn't have said you could fit many more in there - as in adding a 3 person. We had a Select room with our 7 year old daughter - HUGE rooms, which is why we have gone for the same set up again this year. We also had blocks 3 & 5 - and again have asked for the same this year.
oh i see but i thought the standards rooms were for 4 people to they have wardrobes in them aswell then
and can yoou email them and ask for a certain block and if you can which block is best
They would put in camp beds, which would leave little space to move about - tho still possible. These standard rooms were in block 5, so not sure if they are the same in other blocks. I emailed Ramy last night & though we don't go till October, I will email nearer the time & should hopefully be allocated the blocks we ask for. Whe are you going?
Stix.
hi stix im going on the 25th of august first time there so i just booked a standard room for the four of us will email them 2 days prior to travelling to try and get a select room if not wll prob go where they put us as ive no idea were they are as never been before its not a cheap place to go to tho
I would get in touch with them 2 weeks before you go - 2 days before & they will have allocated your room already. Block 3 & 5 are great blocks to be in....
ive tried they tell me to try 2 days before i fly is 3 n 5 both standard rooms blocks then
Block 5 is both Select & Standard. We had a select in Block 3, but not sure if they have standard there too. U will love it there. We can't wait to get there....
yea that would be great thanks
We go on the 22nd August...(13 days and counting). We have also been discussing rooms. What facilities are near blocks 3 & 5 as you would recommend them? We are not sure whether to E-mail the hotel about a room selection, or take a chance on arrival. It will be our first time at this hotel.
same situation as me then joanyy only ive got 15 days and counting .....
Blocks 3 & 5 have main pool & sea views. They are also situated near the main hotel where the main restruant is. We were moved from Block 13 to blocks 3 & 5. I just prefered to be nearer the activities of the day & night time entertainments. The other higher number blocks have views of the swim up pools, but further away from the main pool area etc. Really is just personal preference.
Thanks for the quick reply. That sounds fine to me. Will have to E-mail the hotel sharpish!! Has anybody got an E=mail address please???
ramy-moris@coralsearesorts.com
We were in block 8, which I was more than happy with - right next to the buffet and therefore the reception etc....but no view of the quiet pool instead we had a partial sea view and garden view. Again 5 mins from the main pool. Block 7 was right next door. These are swim up rooms with select rooms above them.
All lower numbered blocks are in the vicinity of the main pool, slides, kiddies pool, A La Cartes and ent area. I always thought block 6 looked good as it was bang in the centre of the resort and well located for everything. The jacuzzi rooms are next to the kids pools and so will likely be blocks 1 or 2 I'd guess.
can any one tell me if needed could we hire buggies/strollers for children at the hotel?/
I think you can hire those with First Choice - I'm sure someone said that they'd done it. Mind saying that, if you need a buggy then I'd recommend taking your own little stroller as the airports can be difficult esp when you're waiting about with tired or wired kids. Yuk - Sharm Airport is the pits!!!
i emailed them to see about a main pool view room didnt get a reply tho as yet prob cant allocate them yet but if everything is in walking distance prob dont matter were u are
Hi we're going to the holiday village with our 2year old on 20th September and have and have a family suite-just wondered if anyone knows what they're like and whether it's worth emailing the hotel to get a specific area of the hotel? Thanks
