Yes, I'll try one of their speciality coffees, Suzie
Everything about the hotel sounds great and although we don't want to wish the summer away we can't wait to get there, especially as our summer has been so rotten, really need some sun
Only three weeks to go now! We're there on Sept 12th for the week. I'm a non-drinker (allergies) but my good lady will certainly be making up for that! Be graet just to get away from this shocking weather!
Will be going in 7 weeks for our 13th visit! Can't wait! Was reading here that you can no longer drink in the sports bar free with gold bands, on the BP facebook site it says something about being able to use the nightclub instead? Anyone know if this is correct?
hi people hope you can help me, I just booked the bahia principe for june next year, We fancy goin to loro parque does anyone know best place to buy tickets for it, ie prebook in england or over there, really lookin forward to stayin at this hotel read all the reviews and nobody seems to have a bad experience of it. Any advice would be gratefully received
That aside, Loro Parque is a great day out,if youre hiring a car you might be better going under your own steam as you would get more time there, there is so much to see & we didnt feel like we had much time as we didnt arrive till midday & left again about 4pm. Penguin World is fantastic!
Cant recommend BP highly enough, cant wait to go back!!!!
Excellent price with Tenerife Sunshine, we paid 36 Euros per adult whereas I noticed First Choice wanted 51 !
Loro Parque was excellent, had plenty of time there and we saw all the shows.
thanks guys for your input, my sister and I dont drive but I will look up tenerife sunshine and see what it comes up with. last time I was in tenerife was over 20 years ago lol, so I know the island has changed quite a bit, really looking forward to it as our hols this year were scuppered with goldtrail. I usually go to turkey but I just fancied something different next year, and I got such a good price for the bp 2 weeks AI for £800, I couldn't pass on it
£800 for two weeks is a fantastic price!!! Who did you book with?
Hi Sloanie, I booked thru thomas cook eventually, I had been following the prices on direct holidays website for weeks the original price on there was 734 to start with, but by the time I got the funds back from our cancelled hols it had started goin up (it reached 900) so I thought I'd try tc who are part of same group I told the girl what the price was with dh and could she come up with a reasonable offer and she came up with £800 even tho their brochure price is about £1300 before all the extras get added on so I did well I think. are you going back next year?
We are going in five weeks. Can't wait!!!!
It's so nice to be looking forward to your hols, hope you have a great time. I got 10 months to wait lol
We came back last night (missing it already!) so any questions, I will do my best to assist.
Hi Suzie, need I ask if you had a good time, thanks for taking time out to answer my org post. I have lots of questions, but I'll ask them bit by bit so as not to bore peole too much lol, from what I have read of the reviews a pool view is the best, I have asked for 1 when I booked, but I'm thinking of e-mailing the hotel nearer departure time to request the same, do you have any knowledge of what floor, room no to ask for for the best views etc? thankyou. Oh and does tenerife still have a cockroach problem lol I remember them from my 1st visit to the island
4, 5 and 6 are directly over the pool and seem to be poplular but if the pool is not important to you and you prefer to be nearer the main restaurant and bar, then 1 or 2 would be best. The higher the floor, the better the view.
Don't worry if they don't reply to your request - they are always very busy but they do try their best to accommodate guests.
We have never seen a cockroach at this hotel. When you arrive and see how the hotel is maintained, I am sure that you will be amazed by their standards and cleanliness!
Might even see you in June but we have a few visits to look forward to before then!!!
Hi Suzie, thanks for the info, and Iwill keep it in mind for next year, not worried about roaches in the hotel as such cos I know how clean it is from all the reviews I read. it's more about the resorts, I just remember them crawling all over the ceilings in the bars and suchlike lol. How many times do you go over to the hotel? it sounds like a home from home for you. my sister and I are going over 24th june next year, hopefully we'll see you there. I ' can't wait
as it is quite isolated but if you want a relaxing holiday with first class service and attention, then you should be happy!
Its a couple of years since we stayed here. Can anyone tell me if the junior suites or villas have kettles and coffee making stuff in them? Thanks
No but there is water, beer and pop in the free minibar which is re-stocked daily so you won't be thirsty.
I might take a kettle as I dont function too well until that first coffee of the morning!!
I always end up going to the snack bar for a couple of coffeees while on the sunbed run!!!! This time in two weeks I'll be there, can't wait!!!!
